They didn't have anything except 6 or 7 taxidermied animal displays, it was cold and it was kind of cluttered. Worst $7 spent on this trip. Then we went to ride horses. They open at 10 and they said we just got the horses up and fed, it's going to be another 35-45 minutes but hey I'm just trying to be honest.

We'd previously visited for the fishing and horse riding experience which turned out to be a nightmare. We went back and could not believe that this business still open and still listed as a must see attraction on the Dells Tourist guide. We didn't it could get worse but it did. The smell of dust and old moisture was so intense it made eyes water that the splays are absolutely filthy there was the M and a turtle that look dad I can't believe that this people are being allowed to called this a business the old lady that was there was down ride creepy mumbling to herself tapping on the nasty aquarium to try to get this turtle to move which to us look dad.t hasn't been cleaned in years is not on your seo more aquarium

The city needs to tear this down, we should have left and saved $7 a piece. No live fish, tanks that have sent empty for a long time with black nasties on the glass. Walk through in a couple minutes. Literally the first display is stuffed animals, the other few are mounted fish with handwritten index cards, there is one taxidermy mount of a wolf. I am disappointed I didn't look at reviews before we went. 100% disgusting!

I was in the area with my husband and daughter and we saw a sign for horse back riding so we decided to check it out. We arrived at the front, where a woman was sitting outside. We asked to be directed to the stable. She pointed us in the correct direction. Going down the pathway, you pass tons of old junk and overgrown bushes. We parked and another visitor outside the office was walking toward the stable, so we followed. My God, that is not a stable but a damn condemned shack! I've owned a horse and have been riding since age 4. The area for horses was disgusting! The horses were tied by halter by a leadrope in an open space stall. They were saddled! Not being ridden, but saddled! It was hot, they were shooing flies and looked miserable. None perked up when you approached and their names were written with sharpie over packing tape. No water, no food in the troughs. They were standing in piles of their own feces. It was heartbreaking and an absolute disgrace. We left immediately and didn't bother to stop at the aquarium. The entire place is a dive, and I would be highly concerned about contracting tetanus there. It looks like a junk yard, made into a "business." I refuse to go back and the horses state still bothers me. This is NOT a place for families, especially children. This is dirty, unkept and a sham. Please, take these reviews seriously as it is not worth your time or money. I am surprised they have not been shut down by the health department. I rarely leave negative reviews but this place was nasty. Animal cruelty mixed with run down buildings, an abandoned boat, broken golf cart with weeds growing through the rusted frame! I still cannot believe I even considered going. Gross!

Do not go there. It looked abandoned and the lady come complaining about how no one wanted to work. There was nothing in the building except old displays and the smell was horrible. It was more like a cow trough and it looked like it had not been cleaned for years and there was a dead turtle.

WHY is this place even still listed, especially in the "Top Things to Do" in Wisconsin Dells.

C'mon folks, this is a scam. There are not fish. There is nothing but dirty water, stuffed animals and crabby grifters out to take your money.

Stay away. Far, far, FAR away.

My husband was excited about this aquarium so we stopped to take our kids. The lady was super nice but this is not an aquarium and that should be taken off the sign. All of the tanks have been drained and replaced with stuffed animals. At the end there was an area that probably used to be an area to touch fish. One of these pools was drained, the other had two or three fish that you could not touch because they bite. Spend your money elsewhere....

My boyfriend and I went to the Fish and Wildlife "museum" at Beaver Creek and I can't express in words just how terrible it was. First of all, we got there and experienced THE WORST customer service I've ever seen/had in my life. We walked up to the man who was suppose to sell us tickets and he didn't even acknowledge us. After 30 seconds, I had to say "excuse me sir, we are interested in going to the museum". He finally said okay but continued to do nothing about it. It was very awkward so I asked what was in the museum. He said "stuff". Umm okay..haha. Then he explained to me that he's never been in the museum so he doesn't really know what's in it. After 5 minutes, he charged us $14.00 and told us to walk back to the museum. A man named Josh meet us over there and started rambling off about how bad his day was going, how he ran out of gas this morning and how crabby his co-workers are today. After 5 minutes of rambling, he unlocked the door and said okay go inside...have fun. We went in and I couldn't believe what I saw. There were stuffed animals in glass containers and poor/ horrible taxidermy in cages. It stunk and it was horribly humid and dirty in the building, There were pipes and hazards on the floor. The "aquarium" had 3 fish in it and the water was almost black. It was disgusting. I strongly encourage you guys NOT to go to this "establishment". It is a scam. I asked for my money back very politely but the man (who ignored me earlier) said there is a no refund policy and I am "out of luck". I can't believe how this place is still in business. I'm planning to take further action and reporting them to the DNR. PLEASE spend your money elsewhere!!!!

This is the movie with the exception of the chainsaw. The "guide" followed us around like a stalker. Continued constantly asking my wife where we were staying. Old crabby freak of an old lady wondering the property. The guide conveniently had just stocked the small pond and the fish wouldn't bite, but the large fish pond had many biters! That's because they were the large fish which cost 1.99 per inch not the 99 cent version. We have learned our lesson. We won't be back to that spot for sure! All total 10 minutes of fishing for our 2 kids = 150 bucks. Plus the 6.50 admission fee for 4. We did catch the fish, but that not really the fishing we were expecting. Oh well lesson learned!
