Julie Andrews looked younger than her years as she attended the 48th AFI Life Achievement Award Gala.

The 86-year-old living legend was honored at the event, where entertainers like Gwen Stefani, Fran Drescher, and Edward James Olmos were also in attendance.

Julie looked stunning in a navy blue gown with sheer sleeves as she arrived at the star-studded affair.

She dazzled in a pair of diamond-encrusted pendant earrings that twirled into a circular design.

The dress had a low-cut, square neckline that was trimmed in pearls and gave way to bell sleeves.

She matched a navy blue clutch purse to the ensemble, which was long enough to stretch over her feet.

It was first announced that the Sound of Music legend would be honored with the achievement award back in 2019.

Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic it took three years for it to come to fruition.

Speaking to LA Times Ms. Andrews said, 'I’m enormously honored that AFI chose me.

'It is a little bit stunning. It makes me hugely aware that there was a large volume of work. When you’re in it, you’re so busy doing the work that you don’t take stock of what you’ve done. And when someone else does, you marvel: "Wow, that’s a lot."'
