The Wedding Party
The dude was marrying Cate Blanchett thinking about another woman.... How fucking stupid is he..
ok so let me get this straight - richard roxburgh had an ex and is not happy about marrying cate... uhm... kind of shit premise don’t you think?
movie was as bad as the poster 😐 cate was pretty though 🥺
I'll give Cate Blanchett in that wedding a dress a whole star to herself but this was AWFUL.
“She is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen” excellent observation Guy, you’re so right.
“I don’t know what she would want with me” another excellent observation Guy, cuz I have no clue.
One entire star to Cate Blanchett and her wedding dress.
Also I legit had to watch this on Facebook and I think that really added to the whole experience.
The end narration where he says ‘the thing about happiness is you don’t know when you have it. You only remember it’ hit different.
so you telling me his pickup line was "I think it's incredible that two people can somehow communicate without words, don't you" on one girl, and then managed to marry Cate Blanchett?
this film was literally about heterosexuals being terrible and watching a relationship fall apart is just really..........grim
but “the trouble with happiness is you don’t know when you have it. you remember it.” cut me deep for sum reason lol
It took a few movies into Cate Blanchett’s filmography to find one I could watch online.
I really wanted to watch Paradise Road, but yeah this one worked.
Found this on the tube of you, came up called The Wedding Party.
I was surprised to see Jane Turner in this, don’t think I’ve seen her in anything but Big Girls Blouse and Kath and Kim. And randomly alcoholic Liz from Wentworth. (Thanks to my sister for making me watch that show.)
Anywhos the dude didn’t deserve Cate.
“There’s nothing wrong with material things, Daaaahling, they outlast us.”
