Someone as brilliant and creative as Tesla surely deserves a biopic that is not afraid to be unconventional or to swing for the fences, but in practice this just did not work for me at all.

Sep 03, 2020Interestingly poetic and non-linear in style, this look at the newly heroic (in the modern day) Tesla doesn't have much to offer in the way of facts in any case, the man's life a mystery and mostly happening between his ears, and so decides on metaphor and suggestion rather than another bland recitation of facts - which might put off most viewers used to by-the-numbers paintings. The more adventurous will enjoy this emotional sweep of a story about a guy in love with speculation and finding himself damned for his love. Ethan Hawke is superb.Kevin M. W Super Reviewer
