A real blast! Buy tickets in the coffee shop/warming building. They are fairly cheap. Line up at bottom of chutes. We were there during winter carnival weekend, but even then the wait was only 10-15 minutes. Then get your toboggan and pull it up the ramp. It’s not very hard. Awesome views at the top. Fast slide down! But not scary. I oils say 4 is the minimum age.

If you enjoy tobogganing a high speeds this is the attraction for you. We enjoyed the ride. Would have rode it more if it had not been so cold and windy the day we were there. The staff were friendly: at the bottom making sure everyone got a toboggan in an orderly fashion; at the top gaving instructions in a clear, consise manner.

This was so much fun! Wish we had time to do it twice but we had to catch a train. We had planned on going early evening the night before but they close earlier than we thought. So we were first in line the next morning and so glad we were. You have to walk/climb the stairs and drag the sled with you which isn’t that hard if you are able. 2 people per sled and three groups go at once. It was fun to “compete” with the other groups to see who got down first; not that you have any control in it. It goes fast but is so fun!

This is a great sled ride that goes surprisingly fast. It certainly did not disappoint. Very affordable at $3.00 (CAD) per ride. Not too crowded either. Only waited about 2 minutes. Worth a run or two when in the area!

We went on the toboggan twice while we were in Quebec City. From the top there is a nice view of the hotel Frontenac and the way down is quick and so much fun! I definitely felt like a kid again. It is worth a ride!

Buy your tickets in the hut at the bottom of the slide. Make sure that you wear snow boots and are in good shape, because you have to the climb the hill with your sled. I recommend going at twilight. With the lights and the view is pretty magical.

My wife kept her leg in, but still came away with an leg injury,as parts of the slide wall has defects and can catch your leg. She came away with a 8 inch cut, non trivial. Besides that, the slide was fun. But Chateau Frontenac should do maintence on the sidewalls so visitors do not get injured.

It was fun to do once and say we did it. Great view from the top. The line on the Monday of Ontario’s long February weekend was a bit long. The slide is pretty fast and over quickly for all the anticipation, price and wait but something to say you did!

After hauling our sled up the walkpath and loading onto the toboggan, zooming down this ice covered track was amazing fun! The toboggan is the old fashioned kind, made from wood and curls up in the front. It's a bit bumpy, but fast and fun. We are grown adults and squealed like children! Everyone seemed to really enjoy this attraction.

This is right outside the back door of the Chateau and is fun to watch for those of us not up to the experience.

once you are down how do you get back up? Is it just walking up some stairs is there a tram or anything? We have one person in our party who is six months or move from knee surgery. Will be there at Christmas thanks, merci!

Is this open end of December 2020?
Do they take photos and vedio for you? And we pay the copy. Thanks

We were there about the 10th of January this year and the slide was definitely open and not at all busy. I think right after the holidays, everything is much slower. I did NOT see any photographer options and, in fact, there were NOT many people there. Enjoy your stay in that beautiful city.
how long is it?

The website says open till mid March or longer weather permitting.
I am going this weekend and one of the reasons is to ride this slide.
Can you please tell me if the slide is still open or when the date it will close be. Or if it’s closed already.
Thank you
