Audience Member not great, but it passes the time. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 05/13/21 Full Review Audience Member I always cite this as the worst movie I ever saw. It was so cringe-worthy I'm surprised I didn't suffer muscle spasms. I only stayed through it because I was at a drive-in with friends. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member When I finished this movie, I thought, “WTF was that?” This is one of the weirdest movies I have ever seen and not in a good way. The plot is convoluted and it is pretty slow moving. Not one I need to see again. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Dated drama of three misfits still offers some fine acting by Liza Minnelli as a scarred, both physically and emotionally, young girl. Made just before Cabaret this is the last time the subdued non star Liza persona would be evident in a film. She speaks a line here "What would I do with sequins?" which while true for the character evokes unintentional laughter since the performer is now unimaginable without head to toe sparkles of some kind. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie is interesting, though it could have been made differently. It's still a good movie! Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member There are certainly some interesting things about this later effort from director Otto Preminger, but the central characters are far more annoying than endearing, which makes the film an irritating chore to sit through as a whole. Vincent Canby New York Times Preminger doesn't direct movies as much as he makes frontal assaults on them. Rated: 1.5/5 May 8, 2013 Full Review Variety Staff Variety All this is well mounted and lensed but sans the right dramatic flourishes to get human depth, melodramatic gusto or humane symbolism into the right focus. May 8, 2013 Full Review Dave Kehr Chicago Reader The style hesitates between no-stops melodrama and glacial reserve without really finding a meaningful perspective on the action. May 8, 2013 Full Review Peter Canavese Groucho Reviews I'll say this for Tell Me That You Love Me, Junie Moon. It's a film that takes a big roll of the dice. Is it wrenching? Is it wacky? Well, it's definitely weird. Rated: 1/4 Aug 21, 2016 Full Review TV Guide A scarred young woman, a paraplegic homosexual, and an epileptic decide to throw in their lots together in this earnest comedy-drama. Sound like fun? It isn't. Rated: 2/4 May 8, 2013 Full Review Emanuel Levy EmanuelLevy.Com Rated: C+ Feb 28, 2013 Full Review Read all reviews
