Even local art lovers visit the Taube infrequently unless there is an exhibit by a special artist. Parking is the main problem, followed by the fact the "museum" is more like a smaller gallery. It's fun to do on an off-weather day if you're downtown nearby, otherwise there are more exciting things to see and do. If you've been to high-end art museums, don't get your hopes up for the Taube.

I have been there with friend. there not show a lot of artwork. Its just show like some exhibition there. This place it in town.

I took an art class here where a group of us got to paint portraits of our pets while being served Hors devours and wine. A fun time had by all. AND the picture didn't come out half bad either.

We have visited The Taube several times to see local artists on display. It is a small museum but very well maintained and a nice gift shop with local artists featured. Parking usually available across the street.

My family goes to the Taube often - always a variety of art and exhibits. The gift shop has a variety of handmade items and purchases.

If you are interested in no name local arts, this will work just fine. I was done in 10 minutes. The place is small and do not have very many displays either.

They offer some neat free art classes for homeschoolers, and the director puts a lot of effort and thought into giving a very thorough and informative class. They also do a project to correspond to the lesson, which they get to take home. Great museum!

Wasn't overly impressed by the content of the museum. A hand full of art pieces done by local artists and that was about it. Looked more like a storage building than an art museum.
