What travelers are saying
- Ashesh SSeoul, South Korea1 contributionWe were looking to spend few hours before our flight and decided to visit this museum. But it was more than worth it. We were offered a little guided tour by a lady (apologies forgot her name) who was speaking good English and explained Chinese traditions and rituals. We were also offered traditional Chinese dresses and photoshoot which was fun. Overall very happy that our time was very well spent. It is on the way to Taoyuan airport and we would Highly recommend.Written December 21, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jeffry bEssendon, Australia13,355 contributionsThis picturesque park is a highlight of Taoyuan City. It lies between the central area of Taoyuan and the suburb of Guishan. "Hutou" means "tiger head" in Mandarin Chinese. The mountain has a number of interesting features, including cherry trees which bloom in spring. There are also playgrounds and BBQ facilities. There is a good view of the night sky from the mountain, it's something of a lovers' haunt. By the way Taoyuan, literally translated, means "the peach orchard."Written May 29, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - tethyseaSingapore, Singapore20 contributionsVery crowded on weekends, plenty of kids and people with their pets. Free water dispenser near the office but not much in the way of food. Bbq pits nearby though.Written December 21, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Jeffry bEssendon, Australia13,355 contributionsTao Yuan is an industrial city 30 kms (20 miles) from Taipei. The Night Market has lots of things to buy, you can get some real bargains. The Tao Yuan Night Market is most famous for its Taiwanese food. It might look a bit peculiar, but it tastes delicious.Written August 8, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Betty2,879 contributionsThis is a big department store and lots of items for sale. It is located in front of the Taoyuan train station. The upper level has a food court with lots of restaurants to chose from.Written February 16, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - admybfVancouver214 contributionsVery interesting museum that tells the Coca Cola history, with narrated tour, exhibits and short film (more for kids). Our only complaint was that we couldn't view the exhibits except as part of the tour with the escort; inasmuch as all exhibits were behind glass, this seems unnecessary and doesn't allow enough time to fully take in all of them. While you can take a bus and short walk to the museum, owing to heavy rain we elected to take a taxi from the train station and it was only $50 NT (less than $2 U.S.). Be aware you need to book this tour 7 days in advance with the museum.Written January 1, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
