Tamara Renee Tunie is an actress, director and producer, best known for her role of Jessica Griffin on the CBS soap opera As the World Turns and as Melinda Warner on the NBC police drama Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She won the 2007 Tony Award for the production of the Broadway musical Spring Awakening and a Drama Desk Award. She is the proud daughter of Evelyn and James W. Tunie.
Her personal life is full of ups and downs. Till now she has been married two times and both the time she filed for divorce with her husband. She was married to her first husband for nearly 3 years and got separated.
