There’s no hard feelings between actress Talia Balsam and her ex-husband, George Clooney.

Balsam, who was married to Clooney from 1989 to 1993, recently spoke to People about her divorce from the Academy Award winner, while fittingly promoting her new show, “Divorce.” The show follows a husband and wife, played by Sarah Jessica Parker and Thomas Haden Church, as their marriage crumbles.

Church’s character, Robert DuFresne, doesn’t handle the situation so well, but Balsam assured People that her divorce from Clooney was much more amicable.

“If you’re trying to compare [George] to Thomas Haden Church’s character, not at all,” she explained, adding, “George is charming. He remains charming. I’ve worked with him.”

These days, it doesn’t seem Balsam dwells too much on her past relationship, telling the magazine that she’s “very happily married” to actor John Slattery.

Clooney also seems to be happy these days, having just celebrated a “very romantic second anniversary” with his wife, Amal.
