Takin’ It Back Tracklist
Takin' It Back is the fourth major-label studio album by Meghan Trainor, released on October 21, 2022, via Epic Records. The digital editions of the album feature all sixteen tracks, while physical versions of the album feature fifteen, excluding “Remind Me.” In an interview on May 12, 2022, Trainor described the album’s sound as going back to her “doo-wop” roots, a prominent sound used in her debut album, Title (2015).
On June 24, 2022, “Bad for Me” featuring first time collaborator Teddy Swims, was released as the lead single from the album. Four months later, on October 21, 2022, “Made You Look” was released as the second single.

What have the artists said about the album?
I tried to do the doo wop feel I had at the beginning of my career, but the 2022 version of it. This is from the new Meghan who is a wife and mom with a baby,” she said in a statement. Meghan continued, “This is from me right now. I decided to give the people what they want, but with my spices added to it. I wanted to make my Title 2.0.
