Audience Member Quite funny actually. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/30/19 Full Review Audience Member Some okay bits in this light hearted comedy but as a whole there's not much to recommend this Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Never outstanding, but certainly a watchable comedy with a few good moments before the crux of the plot begins, after that it gets a little more generic. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Can't believe I sat through this, nearly gave up on it very early on. Melissa George is especially horrid in this one. Lost half a star for the scene of her with her breast pump. Character is also crude, vulgar and repellant. Mandy Moore fares a little better, but she and the husband have zero chemistry. He looks like her father in the flashbacks of them dating. And wouldn't you know it, my all time "favourite" happy ending in the movie. That one never gets old. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member When the film's funniest moment is Angus Deayton asking for an Anal Blast cocktail then you know you are in for a rough ride. Cliched and an utter waste of time. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Probably the most depressing "comedy" I've ever seen. The two leads have zero chemistry together. Diego Semerene Slant Magazine Marriage, in the film, is the necessary evil we all must figure out how to endure in order to be happy or, at least, feel normal. Rated: 1.5/4 Aug 24, 2011 Full Review Leslie Felperin Variety A contempo contribution to the august British tradition of lame, unfunny sex comedies. Jun 20, 2011 Full Review Derek Malcolm London Evening Standard The film tries for a kind of pawky comedy that tells some kind of truth. But a mediocre screenplay doesn't help and only a few moments work as well as they might. Jun 17, 2011 Full Review Karen Benardello We Got This Covered The film features one-dimensional, married characters who lack distinctive personalities, and fails to include a backstory that proves they ever had any chemistry together. Rated: 5/10 Feb 28, 2013 Full Review Peter Sobczynski eFilmCritic.com Imagine the world's longest, lamest and smuttiest episode of the redoubtable TV classic "Love, American Style" and you have only begun to conceptualize the mind and genital-numbing horror that is "Swinging with the Finkels." Aug 26, 2011 Full Review Brian Orndorf BrianOrndorf.com An occasionally loathsome sitcom starring two miscast leads doing their chipper best to make this malarkey profound.
