Tiny Tim is married for the third time to "miss" Susan Gardner. From the book "Eternal Troubadour: The Improbable Life of Tiny Tim:"
On August 18 1995, about 800 people (not including press) crowded into the Immaculate Heart of Saint Mary Church for the wedding of Tiny Tim and Susan Gardner. ‘I would have been happy with a backyard barbeque,’ Sue recalled. ‘I never wanted [a big wedding], but I knew that Tiny would like it, and I knew that the family would like it.’ The church swelled with people, including hundreds of Sue’s stepmother’s friends and all of her father’s employees. Guests filled every row in the center and spilled into one wing of the sanctuary, with the other wing designated for press and television crews. A tent was set up in the parking lot so that everyone could be seated for the meal, and a congratulatory telegram arrived from Johnny Carson.
The wedding reception took place in a gymnasium attached to the church. It was an impressive event: several hundred people were present, as well as a full band, hundreds of gifts, and seven wedding cakes.
For Tiny and Sue, the whole reception was a whirlwind of pictures and handshakes. They barely had a chance to eat before Tiny’s performance with the band. His set consisted of songs from the Sweet Sue: Album Sampler, an abridged version of a forthcoming full-length album, Sweet Sue, that was given to guests at the wedding: ‘Sweet Sue, Just You,’ ‘I Know God Still Loves Me (Because He Gave Me You),’ and ‘Only Forever.’
Pausing between each song to kiss Sue, Tiny seemed a bit shaky, but gave a well-received performance. He closed with ‘Roll Out The Barrell’ and, another selection from the wedding
album, ‘The Minnesota Polka.’
