Running on the USA Network for nine seasons, the legal drama Suits featured a diverse array of cast members from established actors to future stars. Played in the cast of Suits by Gabriel Macht, Harvey Specter is a highly touted litigator at Pearson Hardman who hires Michael Ross to be his associate attorney, though the latter doesn't have a law degree. While Suits was Macht's largest role by far, he also gained significant attention when he appeared as John Russell Jr. in the historical thriller The Good Shepherd. Patrick J. Adams As Michael Ross
Patrick J. Adams plays Michael Ross, a man with a keen legal mind who is hired at Pearson Hardman to practice law even though he didn't attend law school. Largely known for his TV roles, Adams starred as John Glenn in The Right Stuff and as Charlie in the cast of Amazon's A League of Their Own show. On the cinematic side, Adams played the memorable role of Patch in the college comedy classic Old School, and he also appeared as Julian in the romantic comedy film 6 Month Rule.
Rick Hoffman As Louis Litt
Appearing in the cast of Suits, Rick Hoffman plays Louis Litt, the supervising attorney at Pearson Hardman who holds a grudge against the wunderkind Harvey Specter. Suits was the series that really allowed the actor to shine, and he followed it up with a recurring role as Dr. Swerdlow in the Showtime original series Billions. Hoffman would eventually reprise his role as Louis Litt on the USA Network series Pearson, and even played the role of an NFL PA representative in the series Ballers. Though Hoffman's career has mostly seen him in TV, he also played the role of the American Client in the torture horror film Hostel.
Meghan Markle As Rachel Zane
Played by Meghan Markle, Rachel Zane is a driven paralegal who passed up a chance to work for her father's firm in order to blaze her own trail at Pearson Hardman. Markle has perhaps the most unique career trajectory of anyone in the cast of Suits, and every movie and TV show starring Markle has been overshadowed by her marriage to England's Prince Harry. Before retiring from acting upon her marriage, Markle appeared as Megan in the romantic drama Remember Me, and she is mostly recognized for her comedic roles such as Jamie in the workplace comedy Horrible Bosses.
Sarah Rafferty As Donna Paulsen
Sarah Rafferty plays Donna Paulsen, Specter's close friend and business partner who serves as his legal secretary while he works at Pearson Hardman. Though joining the cast of Suits was Rafferty's biggest role, she also starred in three episodes of Grey's Anatomy as Suzanne Britland, and she had a recurring role as Dr. Pamela Blake on Chicago Med. Rafferty also gained attention for her one-off appearance as Rachel Mortimer on the critically acclaimed series Six Feet Under, and she also played Avery Parker in the Hallmark Original film All Things Valentine.
Gina Torres As Jessica Pearson
In the cast of Suits, Gina Torres plays Jessica Pearson, a co-founding partner of Pearson Hardman whose difficult attitude often clashes with Specter and the other lawyers. Outside of Suits, Torres is perhaps best known for her turn as Cas in The Matrix sequels The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions. She also played Zoë Washburne in the science fiction series Firefly and its film Serenity, along with the recurring role of Jasmine in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer spinoff series Angel. Amanda Schull As Katrina Bennett
Katrina Bennett is an ambitious fifth-year associate attorney who leaves the D.A.'s office to work for Pearson Hardman, and she is played by Amanda Schull. Best known for her work on TV shows, Schull gained attention when she played the recurring role of Meredith Sorenson on Pretty Little Liars. She also landed the part of Dr. Cassandra Railly in the science fiction series 12 Monkeys, and reunited with her Suits co-star Gina Torres when she played Special Agent Rose Casey on 9-1-1: Lone Star. A former ballet dancer, Schull is also known for playing protagonist Jody Sawyer in the ballet drama film Center Stage.
Dulé Hill As Alex Williams
Veteran TV actor Dulé Hill joins the cast of Suits as Alex Williams, a skilled lawyer with a dark past who is lured away from Bratton Gould by Specter to work for Pearson Hardman. The underrated TV drama actor first rose to fame for his Emmy-nominated role on The West Wing as Charlie Young, but he will forever be associated with his star-making comedic turn as Burton "Gus" Guster on the USA Network hit series Psych. Hill appeared as the one-off character Kenny Brooks in an episode of This Is Us, and was cast as Bill Williams in the rebooted The Wonder Years series.
Katherine Heigl As Samantha Wheeler
Katherine Heigl appeared in seasons 8 and 9 of Suits as Samantha Wheeler, Robert Zane's close partner when his firm merges with Specter Litt. Suits wasn't Heigl's first brush with a major TV role, as she became a household name for her Emmy-winning performance as Dr. Izzie Stevens in the long-running medical drama Grey's Anatomy. D.B. Woodside as Jeff Malone - Joining the cast of Suits, D.B. Woodside plays Jeff Malone, a senior SEC prosecuting official who eventually joins Pearson Hardman. Woodside first gained attention for his role as Principal Robin Wood in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but his best known for playing Wayne Palmer in 24 and Amenadiel in the series Lucifer.
