Sue Johnston OBE (born 7 December 1943; Warrington, Lancashire, England) is the actress who portrayed Gladys Denker in the fifth series of Downton Abbey.
Johnston is a BAFTA nominated actress also known for her roles in Brookside, Waking the Dead, The Royle Family and Coronation Street.
