在上海万源城协和双语中学读书是怎样的感受？

So first thing first, I don’t wanna negate the fact that all the answers posted ain’t entirely unbiased, yet still the school isn’t good as it pictures itself neither. I choose not to be anonymous because i’m getting sick of the ensuing teachers-hunting-down-students game the topic has created. And i’m here just for only narrating my observation, so I don’t speak for any sides except myself.

While many students complaining about the grading and teaching stuff, i’m pretty sure that some of them don’t derserve to say so, cuz I’ve seen too many students whose learning atitude is inexistent 24/7. The school, however, is also accountable for that of course, at least partially, cuz if it’s not, then what happened to the admission office? And what kind of learning environment the school offers?

Again i’m just clarifying the truth.

And to those who did work hard and didn’t get good grades eventually, I do believe that you’ve tried to cope with your issues in a way that’s more acceptable to the school, but it didn’t work out, cuz otherwise you wouldn’t have posted stuff here, but I think if you really wanna solve such probs legitimately, name-calling isn’t a wise tactic anywayz.

Plus, despite some exaggerations and aspersion, most of the answers were created so as to reveal teaching problems no longer negligeable. I know a teacher whose name I won’t tell is always late for classes for roughly 30 mins and puts grades, sometimes, randomly. He or she has kept doing this for almost a whole semester. Another teacher I know only hands out worksheet in the beginning of the classes and then starts doing stuff on his/her own, barely teaching anything. The list continues, but I will stop there, cuz I don’t wanna moan like a loser. And I’m not against those teachers but their teachings. What matters is that those students willing to work hard are impact.

On lunch I don’t wanna expand too much. I know the school canteen needs prepare food for many people everyday. And making school meals tasted equally diliciouslu as those you have at home is definitely impossible. But at least the cleaness ought to be guaranteed I suppose; that’s the bottomline. A friend of mine sneaked to the kitchen of the school canteen and took these pics.

I don’t make any comments; those pics are just for references. Another thing on canteen is that sometimes it cooks speal meals for officials visiting the school. I mean, technically there’s nothing wrong, but I guess it’s kind of uncomfortable for some students to see this, because obviously their meals are more well-prepared. Plus now a special room is made beside the entrance of canteen. I guess it also serves the offcials as well. Those ain’t wrong, but I personally don’t think bring that officialism to school is healthy for students development.

So here’s a screenshot of the writing of a school teacher impersonating a student, seeking to defend the school. Aside from the information, I think the mocking tone and style are cheesy.

And here’s a message saying a student’s answers got reported for underminning people’s legal rights. Maybe some answers are too excessive I admit, but I hope the school can reflect on those answers instead of classifying them all as the so-called “venenous aspersions” quoted from Ms.Lu, who denied all the stuff mentioned in all the answers.

When the school is making effort to eliminame thode answers, some teachers have asked students to report “suspect”. I try to maintain objective in this answer, but this is the point I can’t get the most. It just reminds me of the speech Al Pacino made in “ Scent of A Woman” and I want to end my answer here.

“...He won't sell anybody out to buy his future! And that, my friends, is called integrity. That's called courage. Now that's the stuff leaders should be made of.” The school should definitively stop this wrongdoing if it doesn’t want to nurture a false fashion among students.

No rumors will be believed without legitimate base. As a student in WanYuan Campus, the feelings I perceived are based on real situation which is pretty fair and evidential according to the experience of most students.

With the core concept of east meets west, our school is aimed to create an American High School atmosphere. Since the purpose of school to establish its cover and fame are more important than helping students building their integrity; however, the superficial ideal image of this school has deceived vast amount of students who are eager to find them a perfect place to pursue further education. And right now, with the arrival of a new Britain principal, the school is an assembly gathered with objectives of all kinds. For administration, they are taking advantage of school rules to fabricate the illusory outside of school. They start with the basic level. They force students to wear formal uniform. As how we are told, they claim to make students look uniformly and professional. Nevertheless, for girls to wear dress as their only choice even during winter times, I guess they are trying to make an all-boy schools by freezing all girls to death. After the uniform trend, they start to chasing after students for hair colors. They force students to dye it back and give students suspension, the cessation of school, not upon school rules with the decent saying of utilizing a structured, systematic approach designed to support and maximize learning. For teachers, I’m not neglecting the fact that good teacher exists. Nonetheless, some of them didn’t reach the degree that school present to fool parents. Mostly, it is basically a hodgepodge of hypocrite and careerists who involved in Game of Throne. If you think teachers are caring about your son or daughter, you gotta be kidding me. And frankly, my dear, you just set 600 hundred thousand on fire.

What’s more, school would rather spend a huge amount of money to buy “achieve 3000”, a useless learing software than paying the bills for athletes when they attend international competition. And the students even need to pay for the flight and hotel fee for the coaches.

Last but not least, I recommend students with following qualities to live a happy life in school. If you are wealthy enough, you’ll have an invisible advantage than others. All you need to do is to donate an ancient house to school. And whatever you do, school will shut the f up. The other quality is to be out standing enough. If you have very strong academic skills and multi talents, the school would offer your money to ask you to stay as you are considering transfering school due to its corruption.

We are all special.

I would call this ‘the vanishment of talents.’

The school only needs 3 steps to make an artist vanish.

1. They support you superficially when you bring them fame and awards in the name of art.

2. They provide the least money and practical support for art.

3.The principle asks you to stop in the middle of a preformance during assembly.

Geting such unaffordable love from school, many students are tried of treating unrespectfully and deceiving by those fancy words of creating a variety of school activities. That’s why many talented people feel frustrated and transfer to another school. For those who choose to stay, they bear the suffering and torture for the people who are precious to them in this campus. They found the place where they belong to because, with high presence or not, those people are too cool to not make friends with. For teachers who sincerely support art and students, they are like cheese in the middle of a McDonald’s double-cheese burger. And we definitely shouldn’t blame them for that as art teachers are always the best.

While school is manipulating to obtain all profits, artists are making art to see their soul.
