  • December 12th: Kretchmeyer is leaving his parents house, and talks about his brother Vic running away two years before. His father hits him with a baseball bat and tells him never to come back. Later, Kretchmeyer watches his parents through their window from afar, through the scope of a rifle. Kretchmeyer shoots his parents through the window with the rifle, then enters the house - his mother is dead, and he finishes off his father - Sunshine & Roses #25

  • Summer: Spanish Scott and Manny discuss mob boss Lonnie and his new man, Harry. Virginia Applejack witnesses Scott killing Manny, as part of Harry's play for power - Stray Bullets #2
  • September 11th: Virginia meets Leon - Stray Bullets #2
  • October 4th: Virginia stabs Kevin Leeds in the back with a pencil after he teases her in class - Stray Bullets #2
  • October 31st: Kevin and his friends attack Virginia while she's out trick-or-treating, cutting her face and beating her before leaving her for dead - Stray Bullets #2

1978:[]

  • October: Eli sneaks into a strip joint with his father and sees Spanish Scott with Caroline, his babysitter. Eli's father recognizes Caroline and flees, leaving Eli stranded. Eli is driven home by Spanish Scott, who runs someone down on the way. A few days later, Caroline is killed and Eli meets Spanish Scott at the funeral. Eli mentions to Scott that his father knew Caroline's secret, and a week later Scott deliberately crashes his car into Eli's father's car, while Eli is also in it. Scott cuts Eli's father's eyes out before leaving him and Eli for dead - Killers #1
  • November 2nd: Virginia Applejack has run away from home and is picked up by Paul Barrow, who is a politician running for Congress. Paul returns Virginia home - Stray Bullets #4

  • May 5th: Annie Chesswick, Beth's mother, shoplifts a Chanel purse from a mall store. She is caught by Charlie, the security guard, but he enlists her to help his with his weed selling sideline - Sunshine & Roses #17

  • December 7th: Kretchmeyer & Spanish Scott discuss Harry's takeover, before heading to Beth & Nina's apartment. Nina heads out to see Harry while Beth, Kretchmeyer & Scott hit a club. later, Beth & Scott are leaving the club, when Kretchmeyer saves them from an attacker. Beth is shot in the arm & Scott shoots another attacker. He beats him & questions him - the attacker says he was sent by Boo Boo Jones, a local drug dealer.   • December 10th: Kretchmeyer visits Beth - he is covered in blood & says they have Boo Boo on the run. Beth agrees to go with Kretchmeyer & Scott to take peyote in Santa Fe.   • February 14th: Vic, Kretchmeyer's little brother, is beaten and thrown out of a bar after failing to score some heroin for him & his girlfriend Verne. She sleeps with the dealer to get the drugs, and they take them in their squalid apartment - Vic says it's the last time - Sunshine & Roses #29
  • March 27th: Vic takes a job on a farm for the father of Carlos, an old army buddy, and meets Josefina, his sister. He tells Verne to get off the heroin - Sunshine & Roses #29
  • unknown date: Vic and Josefina grow close - he tells her about his family and his girlfriend, saying he's responsible for her. Back at their apartment, Verne is on drugs again - she and Vic fight. He ties her up to prevent her taking more drugs, and passes out. He wakes up when someone thumps on the door - it is their dealer's men. He escapes out of the window but it looks like Verne has died while he was passed out. Vic goes back to the farm, kisses Josefina, and is invited to dinner. Carlos has returned home from the army, and they all have a great time - Sunshine & Roses #29
  • Summer: Led & Sonny rob a jewellery store, but only succeed in stealing a wallet. They throw a party, where Spanish Scott & Monster talk about Harry moving them out to California, and Scott tells Led that he'll tell Harry about him. Beth & Nina are also at the party, Led goes for beer with Nina. Joey is teased by some party-goers, and is tricked into walking in on Rose in bed with two guys. Led sleeps with Nina, but as they are in bed Harry turns up at the party wanting to meet him - Stray Bullets #3
  • Summer: Harry has Spanish Scott kill Led in front of Nina and everyone at the party - Sunshine & Roses #4
  • October 22nd: Spanish Scott visits Rose to babysit Joey. Scott sees Ramon, a rat in the group, while out with Joey in the car, and puts Joey in the trunk while he kills him. Scott takes Joey to Janice, his usual babysitter. Joey is put in the trunk of the car again while Janice has sex with Scott, but Ramon's brother shows up while they're in the act and shoots her. Her body is dumped in the trunk alongside Joey. Scott escapes by attacking Ramon's brother with the car's cigarette lighter, and escapes leaving Joey and Janice's body in the trunk of the car - Stray Bullets #23

1981:[]

  • Spring: Orson witnesses Spanish Scott run over someone in his truck, killing him. Orson meets Rose at the scene of the accident, and they go for lunch. The victim had a number written on his hand which Orson memorises, and calls later on. A woman answers, and asks if the caller is Scott, but Orson doesn't say anything and they hang up. A few days later, Orson goes to visit Rose but overhears Spanish Scott yelling at her, saying Harry says she has to leave for Vegas. Monster sees Orson listening and threatens him, but Rose comes to the rescue. Rose throws a wild party for Orson, and he realises it was her voice on the other end of the phone when he rang the dead guy's number. Next morning, Joey asks Rose when Janice is coming over. Orson leaves Rose's apartment, and meets Beth outside - Stray Bullets #5
  • June 19th: Orson wakes up with crabs after a party he went to with Beth. He goes to see Beth and finds her with Kretchmeyer. Joey has been left at Beth's apartment, so Beth & Orson take him home. Beth tells Orson she's fallen out with Nina, and is upset about it. As they talk, Joey implies that Harry is his father, but no-one listens to him. Beth says she and Nina haven't been allowed to talk since the party, a year before. Orson arranges for Beth to visit Nina, but it doesn't go well. Beth & Orson drown their sorrows at a strip club, but flee when they see Spanish Scott. They have sex in the car, have another wild night, and in the morning Beth rings Orson to ask him why she has crabs - Sunshine & Roses #2
  • July 3rd: Beth talks to Dez Finger about the money she borrowed from him a year before - he wants repayment by the next day. Orson calls to see Beth and gets roughed up again. Beth & Orson have sex and she tells him about borrowing $10,000 from Finger when she & Nina were going to leave town. Beth & Orson go to visit Sonny to get a load of weed from him to sell, but they have no luck selling any. Beth & Orson break into Finger's house, steal a load of valuable objects, and leave a threatening message from "Mr Sunshine" - Sunshine & Roses #3
  • July 4th: Beth & Orson visit Dez Finger at his beach house to deliver his money - Sunshine & Roses #3
  • July 17th: Nina does some coke, and talks to Gomez, her bodyguard - Sunshine & Roses #4
  • July 18th: Nina goes to find Beth, but only finds a stoned Sonny. Sonny drives Nina to his parents' farm, looking for Beth, but she isn't there. They go back to Sonny's apartment, where Spanish Scott & Kretchmeyer are waiting for them. Nina flees, while Scott interrogates Sonny. Gomez drives Nina home, but they pass Beth & Orson in a car on the way. Nina gets in their car, and tells them about a big deal that's about to go down for Harry. They return to Nina's apartment, and find Spanish Scott & Kretchmeyer waiting outside. Sonny, who has been following, runs at them, and accidentally shoots Gomez with a speargun. Kretchmeyer guns down Sonny in return, then Beth & Orson run him over as they escape - Sunshine & Roses #4
  • August 4th: Rose has a job interview, that does not go well. She runs into Beth & Orson, who are having lunch. Rose follows Orson after he leaves, and tails him to an apartment where he's buying a fake ID - Sunshine & Roses #5
  • August 5th: Rose follows Orson again, to a parking lot where he meets with Nina. Rose confronts Orson, and they argue - Sunshine & Roses #5
  • August 6th: Rose talks to Monster about Orson, and Spanish Scott & Kretchmeyer call round and leave a suitcase for Dez Finger. Later, Beth calls round and punches Rose in the face for making moves on Orson. Rose then goes to visit Beth's apartment while they're out, and she hides in the closet. Beth & Orson return, and Rose overhears Orson telling Beth that he's really in love with Rose. She then interrupts them, threatening them before being knocked out by Kretchmeyer from behind. Rose comes round in the trunk of a car, hearing Orson arguing with Kretchmeyer, followed by a gunshot. She's let out of the trunk, and comes out to find Beth & Orson over Kretchmeyer's apparently dead body. Beth winks at Kretchmeyer - they are setting Rose up - Sunshine & Roses #5
  • August 8th: Beth & Orson tell Kretchmeyer their fake plan plan to take over from Harry - Sunshine & Roses #8
  • August 9th: Spanish Scott meets with Monster & Dez Finger at the strip club to hash out their problem with each other - it does not go well. Monster meets Beth outside, and they go for coffee. He goes home alone after doing a job, and a stripper calls for him. Monster attacks her and she runs off, leaving a card from Finger. Monster watches Beth & Orson make love from the roof opposite her apartment - Sunshine & Roses #6
  • August 10th: Monster obsesses over Beth & Orson, and a gun shipment goes missing. Monster Scott calls Monster in, and asks him to investigate. Monster invites Beth over, and he tells her about the beef with Dez Finger. He gives her a key to his deposit box in case he is killed, but she rejects it. Monster reminisces about their childhood together, and puts the key in the mail. He breaks some heads, and gets the gun shipment back. He goes back to the strip club, where a fight with Finger ensues - Sunshine & Roses #6
  • August 11th: Beth visits Monster and gives him the letter with the key back. Monster asks for a second chance, and Beth hits him with a picture frame - Sunshine & Roses #6
  • Dez Finger visits Spanish Scott at the strip club, but Scott won't tell Kretchmeyer what is going on. Kretchmeyer has to escort a patron from the strip club for touching - Sunshine & Roses #8

  • August 21st: Kretchmeyer visits Nina with some coke, and they have sex. Kretchmeyer questions her about the plan with Beth & Orson - Sunshine & Roses #8
  • August 24th: Kretchmeyer & Orson meet up. Orson tells Kretchmeyer that he's getting in the way of him and Beth - Sunshine & Roses #8
  • August 31st: Kretchmeyer gets Nina high again, and she lets slip that Beth & Orson are planning on leaving after the deal, not taking over as they'd told him - Sunshine & Roses #8
  • September 1st: An angry Kretchmeyer beats and tortures the strip club patron he threw out a few days ago - Sunshine & Roses #8
  • September 7th: Beth & Orson discuss their plans to interrupt Harry's big coke deal and make off with the money - Orson is drunk & Beth is wired on amphetamine pills. Orson visits Rose, who tells him that Spanish Scott is suspicious about them. Orson then visits the strip club, and meets Chandra - one of the strippers who he plans to befriend so that she'll take him into "the BJ room" at the time the deal is going down. Later, Orson meets with Nina, who is high on coke again - she tells him she wants Beth to kill Spanish Scott. Orson is having doubts about the plan, but bumps into Kretchmeyer, who reassures him. In the early hours, Orson visits his home and talks to his sister, who tells him that Spanish Scott came by the house asking about him. On his return to the apartment, he sees Scott outside in a car, watching. He tells Beth they need to straighten themselves out, or the plan is going to fail. She agrees, but reaches for her pills again, while Orson pours another vodka... - Sunshine & Roses #9
  • September 8th: Beth tries to buy guns & ammo but is so wired that she keeping failing and buying gum instead. Her & Orson discuss the forthcoming action, and decide they have to call off the plan to steal the money & drugs and just spring Nina instead. Beth meets with Kretchmeyer, who still thinks the plan to take over the business is on, while Orson meets with Rose, who admits to sleeping with Kretchmeyer. Later, Beth takes a gun to Nina's building, and rings the bell to her apartment. She waits outside with the gun, expecting Kretchmeyer to answer the door, but he sneaks up behind her and attacks her. He beats Beth up, and tells her she has to follow through with her part of the plan, or he will kill Nina. She goes home, and wakes Orson - Sunshine & Roses #10
  • September 11th: Rose & Kretchmeyer have sex, and afterwards he tells her that he's worked out that Harry is Joey's father. Meanwhile Joey finds Rose's gun. Rose's neighbour Becky brings her daughter Kimberley around and leaves her to play with Joey - he shows her the gun. Kimberley is worried about her mother seeing Cesar, an associate of Kretchmeyer's, so they go in search of them with the gun. They enter Becky's apartment to find Kretchmeyer, who has been looking for Joey. Joey freaks out and shoots Kretchmeyer, before running off - Sunshine & Roses #14
  • September 12th: Orson writes to his sister to tell her he loves her, then he & Beth discuss the plan. Orson gets drunk again, and oversleeps before being interrupted by Rose, who tells him that Chandra, an essential part of the plan, is off work sick. Orson makes Rose persuade Chandra to come into work, before Monster shows up looking for Beth. He breaks Orson's wrist, before finding their model of the strip club and realising something is up. Monster sets off to find Beth. Orson straps his wrist with tape, and makes Rose drive him to the club. They crash into Monster's car, and hijack a replacement, putting Monster in the trunk. He drugs Rose, and abandons the car, running to the club. He tries to drug Chandra as well, but she throws up after swallowing the drink so it doesn't work. Beth drills through the wall and finds them... - Sunshine & Roses #12
  • Beth retrieves a large bag from the car, and walks to the strip club, tripping & twisting her ankle on the way. She hides behind the wall, and drills through it at the appointed time to find Orson & Chandra. Orson climbs through the airvents while Beth & Chandra talk. Orson puts the money in the bag, and they knock Chandra out before leaving Sunshine Gang graffiti and escaping with the money. They get back to the car, but Spanish Scott is waiting for them inside - Sunshine & Roses #13
  • Kretchmeyer returns to Beth's apartment & meets Nina. Beth & Orson tell Spanish Scott that Kretchmeyer is behind the Sunshine Gang and the robbery. The Bolivians turn up at the strip club to do the deal, but the men Kretchmeyer has hired from rival crime boss Sarousian also turn up and a firefight ensues. Beth & Orson escape with the the and return home with Spanish Scott in pursuit - Sunshine & Roses #15
  • September 13th: Beth, Orson, Nina & Kretchmeyer are escaping in the car when they hear thumping from the trunk - Beth opens it to find Joey inside. They stop at a motel and open the cases, to find one full of cocaine instead of money like they thought, and arguments ensue. The motel attendant hears them, and Joey who is still in the trunk of the car. He bursts in swinging a baseball bat, intent on rescuing Joey. Kretchmeyer gets whacked with the bat, and Nina shoots the attendant. Beth, Orson, Nina & Joey then take the unconscious attendant to find a doctor, leaving a Kretchmeyer in a pool of blood in the motel - Sunshine & Roses #16
  • September 21st: Annie Chesswick is discussing her weed selling business with her partner Ralphie, when Beth and the gang turn up - Annie and Beth clearly hate each other - Sunshine & Roses #18
  • September 22nd: Annie takes Beth, Orson & Nina to see her doctor about Orson's mangled hand. When they get home Annie questions Joey, who tells her about the suitcases of money & coke - Sunshine & Roses #18
  • September 23rd: Annie tells the doctor about the money, and tries to get the hiding place out of Orson, but only succeeds in finding out how much is there - Sunshine & Roses #18
  • September 24th: After carrying out the surgery on Orson's hand, Annie and the doctor try to extort more out of Beth. Ralphie turns up at the doctor's surgery and tells Annie he loves her - she tells him the doctor is trying to extort the money. Ralphie beats the doctor up, while Annie and Beth make up, a little - Sunshine & Roses #18
  • October 13th: Joey draws his Mr Sunshine doodle on Annie's wall, while Beth & Annie go shopping and bond. They return to their car to find a load of dead squid in the seat, and a man watching them. A brick is thrown through the window of Annie's house and hits her daughter Liz - Annie's drug-dealing competition is closing in. Beth & Nina argue about drugs, and about Orson. Annie explains to Ralphie how she's trying to bond with Beth to get closer to the money - Sunshine & Roses #19
  • October 14th: Beth tells Annie she's leaving, so Ralphie tells Beth about the rival gang who are threatening them, to get Beth to stay and sort things out. Beth realises something's wrong, and when she returns she finds Orson, Nina & Joey tied up - Sunshine & Roses #19
  • Annie & Ralphie discuss what to do with the money & coke, while Beth, Orson & Nina argue in a diner in Palm Beach. Sarousian, the rival crime boss that Kretchmeyer hired men from, appears in the diner but doesn't see the gang. Later, Beth & Orson break into Annie's house to look for clues to where she & Ralphie might have gone. Kretchmeyer calls at the door looking for them, but doesn't see them inside. Back at the motel, Nina comes up with a plan to disguise Beth as her mother, so she can meet Annie's family undetected. Beth meets Annie's husband, who thinks Annie is in witness protection. Orson, also in disguise (and calling himself Derek), sits outside in the car getting drunk, and sees Kretchmeyer scouting the area. Annie turns up at the house, followed quickly by Kretchmeyer. Orson drives the car into the wall, and Ralphie bursts in but gets shot by Kretchmeyer. Beth knocks her mother out & tells Kretchmeyer they're back in together - Sunshine & Roses #21
  • At the motel, Beth, Orson & Nina disguise themselves again and go out, leaving Joey behind - he manages to ring his mother. Beth & the gang return with Kretchmeyer and an unconscious Annie, and Kretchmeyer tries to intimidate Beth into telling him where the suitcases are. Sarousian arrives, and escorts Orson (still disguised as Derek) to get a doctor for Annie. Monster turns up at the motel and attacks Kretchmeyer, followed by Rose. Nina escapes, and warns Orson about Monster. Rose has already drugged Monster with quaaludes, by the time Orson returns to the motel Monster is out cold. Rose leaves with Joey, and Orson knocks out Sarousian. Beth, Orson & Nina escape unharmed, with Annie and a badly beaten Kretchmeyer - Sunshine & Roses #22
  • October 15th: Beth & the gang dump Kretchmeyer at a hospital. Annie tells them the suitcases are still in her car, so they head back to the house to get them. They dump Annie at the house and escape with the suitcases. Monster turns up at Annie's house but Annie can't tell him anything. Annie's husband returns home, and she vows to be a better wife - Sunshine & Roses #23
  • Beth, Orson & Nina decide to take a road trip to New Orleans. Beth & Nina hit a bar, and leave a paranoid Orson to get drunk by himself. Beth & Nina have a miserable time, while Orson befriends a dancer, drops her ex-boyfriend from a balcony, and sets fire to a club - Sunshine & Roses #24
  • November: Rose & Joey pay a visit to Annie, and the two women enjoy a drink and a complain together. Rose visits Charlie, who has been in prison - she wants to start up selling weed again. Annie wants to escalate the business, and does a deal with a bigger dealer, but he wants them to start selling heroin in the schools. Annie offloads the heroin and tries to escape with the money, but argues with her husband and then Charlie - the pressure causes her to have a stroke. The police come looking for Annie in hospital, and tell her husband all about her previous life. Spanish Scott calls at the hospital to ask Annie about Beth, but she doesn't tell him anything - Sunshine & Roses #23
  • December 9th: Annie visits Kretchmeyer in hospital and proposes they join forces to get revenge. She takes him out of the hospital and they hole up at a motel. Annie goes back to her home to find drugs, and meets her husband, who has been beaten up by the dealer Annie stole from. Annie and Kretchmeyer get stoned together and pass out - Sunshine & Roses #26
  • December 10th: Annie and Kretchmeyer wake up to find two dead bodies with them. They are associates of the dealer who is after Annie - Kretchmeyer has shot them while stoned. As they make their escape, a firefight breaks out. Annie and Kretchmeyer make plans to go into business. They go to Annie's house to try and get her kids back but are stopped by her husband - Sunshine & Roses #26

  • January 18th: Annie and Kretchmeyer hold up a gas station, and kill the attendant. Afterwards, Kretchmeyer talks about his upbringing, his brother, and killing his parents - Sunshine & Roses #27
  • January 19th: Annie suggests to Kretchmeyer that they try to find his brother Vic, and they drive to North Dakota - Sunshine & Roses #27
  • January 20th: Annie and Kretchmeyer arrive in his home town, but don't recognise the people living in his boyhood home. They go to visit Kretchmeyer's aunt, who runs a diner - Kretchmeyer hides in the car while Annie goes in. Annie asks about Vic, and is told that he joined the army but hasn't been heard from in 3 years. Meanwhile Kretchmeyer is spotted in the car - he is wanted for his parents' murders and has posters up in town. His cars is boxed in so he can't escape, but Annie steals a bus and clears the way. In the firefight that ensues, Annie shoots Kretchmeyer's aunt and they make their escape - Sunshine & Roses #27
  • January: Ricky Fish comes back to his apartment, and passes out. His wife Kathy, opens the door to Roger, a cop, and Puncher, plus some female friends. They say Ricky owes them money for a bar tab, and they try unsuccessfully to wake him up. Roger tries to kiss Kathy but she slaps him. Next morning, Kathy tells Ricky not to come back home again. Later, Ricky & Roger have a drunken brawl, and the bar they're in gets smashed up. A few days later, Roger calls for Kathy with flowers & she lets him in - Stray Bullets #17
  • unknown date: Annie visits Vic, and tells him to visit her at a motel - he ignores her. Annie visits again while Vic is with Carlos. The police are on his trail, and he flees with Josefina. He tells her all about being hooked on heroin, about Verne. The police find them again - Josefina says she'll go with Vic, and goes to get money. He flees, but the police catch him. While they are beating him, Kretchmeyer shows up and shoots them - Sunshine & Roses #29

  • March 3rd: Annie and Kretchmeyer, in a secluded cabin in Tenessee, are listening to Vic, going through severe withdrawal, screaming in pain and insulting them. Kretchemeyer proposes to kill him and be done with it, while Annie suggests a heart to heart between brothers. Kretchmeyer flees the cabin to the nearest liquor store where, after antagonising several locals, his attention is caught by the newspaper, reporting on "Derek"'s bizarre crime spree.   • Early Spring (after April 22nd): Beth and the gang are hiding out in Tennessee. Orson is still disguising himself as Derek. Beth wants to spend some of the money, but Orson won't let her. Orson, as Derek, steals a Camaro, and the gang go out to have some fun. The next day, Nina tells Orson the story of her and Led, while they do some coke. Nina tells Orson to keep up the wild ride in order to keep Beth interested, and more wild times ensue. They are attacked by truckers, but Orson sees them off - the gang finally agree that they're all burned out and need to lie low - Sunshine & Roses #28
  • Spring: Orson, Beth & Nina are living in a trailer in the village of Woodlake, somewhere out West. Beth & Orson argue a lot, and Nina is a coke addict. They are in possession of two large suitcases of coke, which Nina is chipping away at. Beth hates living there, but Orson says they have to as they're on the run - Stray Bullets #8
  • Summer: Nick Giardelli lives in Woodlake near Orson, Beth & Nina. He owes money to the bank, and is unsuccessful with women. He gives Orson a ride to Seaside, a nearby town, and meets up with a bunch of his friends. A pair of truckers ask Nick to get them some girls, and Nick goes to a strip club to find them. On his return, the truckers are beating some other guys up - Nick shoots the truckers & rescues them. Nick is hailed as a hero - Stray Bullets #9
  • June: Jack is newly married, but at the reception sees a girl, Amelia, that he can't stop staring at. In the past few months, Amelia has gone through many guys, thinking each one is special but quickly moving on to the next. At the wedding, Jack and Amelia meet, and end up sleeping together in her hotel room. A few days later, Amelia meets Roger, the cop, and propositions him but is turned down. Amelia goes to work as a stripper - Stray Bullets #19

Hank starts an affair with a friends wife, and starts visiting strip clubs and hookers. He meets Amelia, and falls for her straight away. Hank proposes to Amelia and plans to leave his wife, but as he is about to tell her, Amelia calls and breaks things off. Hank is dumbstruck, and reduced to the same coward he always was - Stray Bullets #16
  • Spring: Beth & Nina sunbathe by the river near Woodlake to unwind, and go swimming while reminiscing about their lives back in the city. Nina wants to go back, but Beth says they can't, ever. Nina is mad and goes back to shore. Beth swims away and meets Ian and Holly who are fishing nearby. Beth tries to set up Ian with Nina, but when she returns Nina has crashed the car and is out of it on coke. Beth has to drive her home, leaving her new friends - Stray Bullets #11
  • Summer: Virginia Applejack arrives in Seaside, via a lift from a truck driver. She steals his money while he's out of the truck, and goes to visit the fair - Beth, Nina & Orson are also there. Beth & Orson have some fun while Nina scores some mescaline and gets wasted with Lemmy & Leslie. Virginia gets nabbed by the sheriff, but escapes and flees. The sheriff gets mad, and ends up accidentally shooting the town's prize five-legged cow, before being wrestled to the ground by Nick Giardelli. Virginia meets Beth, and says her name is Amy - Stray Bullets #12
  • September: Virginia's diary says she's been on the road for 5 months. The town of Seaside blame her & the gang for the death of the five-legged cow. Beth decides to try and get Nick Giardelli elected as the town's new sheriff. Nina has sex with Lemmy & Leslie in the trailer, while Virginia is in the next room. Leslie finds Virginia, and it seems like he & Lemmy are going to rape her, but Nina saves her by taking them back to her room. Later, Nina hallucinates that Virginia is an angel, and she seems happy as they chat. Virginia has to fight off Lemmy & Leslie again. Nick loses the election, but becomes sheriff anyway when the old sheriff has a heart attack and dies. Beth has the bright idea of setting the five-legged cow funeral up as a tourist attraction - Stray Bullets #13
  • October: Orson suggests to Beth that it's time to leave Woodlake, proposing they go to Vegas. Spanish Scott & Monster finally catch up with them, and Orson tells them where the coke is, against Beth's wishes. Meanwhile Nina has OD'd while partying with Lemmy & Leslie - Scott catches Leslie, and Lemmy runs. Leslie is about to tell Scott where the coke is when Beth kills him by stabbing him in the neck with a pencil. Scott takes everyone to Seaside, where they meet with Rose, who has come with Scott & Monster. Orson makes a run for it while Rose is arguing with Scott about Joey, and Monster gives chase. Orson finds Nick Giardelli in the strip club, gets his gun, and goes off to save Beth. Scott & Beth catch up with Lemmy at Leslie's house, where Scott tries to torture Lemmy into telling him where the coke is. Lemmy doesn't know anything, and Scott kills him. Orson bursts in and shoots Scott, who stabs him in return. Both seem to be killed, and Monster lets Beth leave. Beth turns up at the bus station ready to leave town, where she finds Virginia, asleep on a bench - Stray Bullets #14
  • October: Beth & Virginia decide to leave for Los Angeles, and move into an apartment together - Stray Bullets #27

  • January: Benny & Roger chat about Benny's desire to be single again, and he admits he's sometimes fantasised about his wife Janet dying. They have dinner with their wives later, and Janet starts choking on some food - Benny is frozen in place, looking almost excited. Roger's wife Kathy saves Janet. Roger becomes convinced that Benny is trying to move in on Kathy, they get into a fight, and Roger stabs Benny in the stomach. Kathy then moves in with Benny & Janet, and ends up falling in love with Benny. Janet is diagnosed with a tumour, and Roger tries to break into the house, but gets into a brawl with Benny. Roger shoots Benny in the shoulder, but Benny gets his gun and shoots him before passing out. When Benny comes round he learns that his wife is dead. After months of recovery from the trauma, Benny & Kathy have sex and are are finally together, at which point Benny wakes up from his daydream to see his wife choking - Stray Bullets #21
  • March: Beth & Virginia are living together in LA. One night, Beth brings home Ricky Fish, and Virginia causes a scene. Beth claims that her relationship with Ricky Fish is a business one, and that Virginia has ruined it. Virginia befriends Bobby McGraw, son of Benny & Janet, and secretly moves into their basement. Bobby draws comics, and Virginia gets him to draw her character, Amy Racecar. Janet is into some weird sex stuff, and keeps inviting different men over to dominate them. One time a man is thrown into the basement and sees Virginia hiding there, but she threatens him and he doesn't say anything. Benny comes home and finds them, and a fight ensues. Virginia tries to escape but is discovered, but just in the nick of time Beth turns up to rescue her, having been tipped off by Bobby - Stray Bullets #15
  • August: Beth & Virginia try to go to the beach, but keep forgetting stuff and never make it - Stray Bullets #27
  • October: Mike Hussey & his friend Brian get rejected their girlfriends, and get drunk together in the forest. Brian ends up giving Mike a blowjob, and they are freaked out by this. Mike puts the moves on his girlfriend Dana, and gets knocked back - she runs off, he chases her, and it is implied he rapes her.   • March: Charlie's wife leaves on a trip, and he goes to a bar, where he sees Beth flirting with Ricky Fish. A few nights later at the same bar, Ricky goes to talk to Amelia, and Charlie plucks up the courage to talk to Beth. They get drunk together, and crash a party. They go back to Charlie's home, but he finds a message from his wife saying she'll be home in the morning. Charlie propositions Beth, and when she turns him down he asks her to leave, but she won't. Beth plays with Charlie's emotions - he thinks his wife will find out and he nearly shoots himself, but is talked out of it. Beth finally leaves, and meets Ricky Fish outside. Beth denies sleeping with Charlie, and walks off, followed by Ricky - Stray Bullets #22
  • May 29th: Bobby McGraw borrows his dad's gun to show off at school but it's stolen by Victor. He tells Virginia, and she promises to get it back. Victor fires the gun in the woods, Virginia gets it off him and threatens him with it. The police show up, Virginia flees & Victor gets the gun again and goes home with it. Virginia visits Victor that night, trashes his room, gets him in trouble with his parents, and gets the gun back off him - Stray Bullets #30

  • June 15th: Beth meets Ian at a restaurant, along with Ricky Fish & Amelia, while Monster waits outside making sure no-one leaves. Beth asks Ian to go and get Virginia from her apartment. He goes to get her, but no-one is home, and Blue Ed is waiting outside. Amelia tries to sweet talk Monster, but he has none of it, but Beth invites him inside. Ian knocks Blue Ed out, and returns to the restaurant where he pretends to be Beth's fiance. An argument ensues, but eventually they agree to forget about Harry's missing money & coke, and all leave peacefully - Stray Bullets #24
  • Virginia visits the record store & meets Ron, who buys her lunch, and invites her to visit his apartment. She visits that night, and stays over - Stray Bullets #25
  • June 16th: Beth is visited by cops asking about Virginia. Beth sees her trying to return home as they talk, and she distracts them while Virginia gets away. Beth visits Bobby's mother, Janet, to ask about Virginia, and meets Hank, her new boyfriend. Beth visits the record store and learns that Virginia went off with Ron the day before - Stray Bullets #27
  • Ron drives Virginia home, but the cops are there talking to Beth, so they drive on. They go and get Bobby, and they all drive back to Ron's apartment. Ron "accidentally" shows Bobby a photo of a naked man, and Bobby asks Virginia if they can go. Ron tries to stop them from leaving, and a fight ensues. Virginia attacks Ron with a fire extinguisher, and bites his arm before he knocks her out and tells Bobby they're never going home - Stray Bullets #25

Monster visits Rose, bringing a blindfolded and tied Virginia with him, who he puts in the closet, where Joey is already hiding. Beth is denied bail, and Ian tells her he loves her. Monster visits Beth, and tells her that he'll give Virginia back if she marries him. Joey talks to Virginia in the closet, telling her she looks like Janice. Ian's PI finds out Monster's address, and he goes over. He busts in when he hears a scream, and finds Virginia & Joey fighting over the caterpillar. Blue Ed turns up, and stops Ian & Virginia escaping. Virginia crushes Joey's caterpillar, and he cries out, distracting everyone and letting Virginia escape. She is stopped by Monster - Stray Bullets #28
  • July 18th: Roger & Puncher read Ron's notebook, with the scripts for the plays he made Virginia & Bobby act out while they were kidnapped. They also have Virginia's diary that she kept in secret, where she details their torture & Bobby's rape. Beth won't talk to Roger, and he reads her extracts from the diary. Bobby gives the police a description of Monster, and they find his apartment. It's empty and abandoned, but they find blood matching Ian, who is still missing. Beth gives the police Monster's number, and they track him down. Beth marries Monster, and when they kiss she bites his lip and tells him to free Virginia. Later, Monster eats the wedding cake with Blue Ed, under surveillance from Roger. They get tired of waiting, and raid the house. Blue Ed gets shot, and Monster escapes. Ian's body is found in Malibu. Roger find Rose's apartment through phone records, and turn up to finally find Virginia - Stray Bullets #29
  • Early August: Virginia has been home for 3 weeks, and her family throw her a party for her birthday. Her mother still hates her, and has a new boyfriend, Craig. After the party, they all have a talk where Virginia's aunt makes it clear they think she's selfish and attention seeking - Stray Bullets #36
  • Late August: Craig walks in on Virginia in her underwear, and is very apologetic, but Virginia calls him a pervert, leading to another fight with her mother. Next day, Craig tries to make peace between them - Stray Bullets #36
  • September 3rd: Virginia goes back to school, and meets Leon again. Leon gets punched by another kid Jeb, and tells Virginia about the various groups at school, especially the jocks and the burnouts. Virginia hits Jeb with a baseball bat during gym class. One of Jeb's friends approaches Virginia with a knife at lunch, but Leon tries to dropkick him. He misses, but distracts him enough for Virginia to hit him with her lunch tray - Stray Bullets #31
  • September 12th: Dez Finger pulls a guys fingers off and kills him, but Harry doesn't approve. Kevin Leeds is in his dad Marty's car, with his little brother Lorry, and goads him into mocking Finger. Finger follows their car, scaring Lorry, and that night he sees Finger outside his window. Next morning, Lorry is paranoid, and his mother makes Kevin walk him to school. Kevin loses Lorry, and Finger catches up with him. Finger tells Lorry that his father can't help him, and Lorry begs Finger not to hurt him. Finger says it's too late, and hands Lorry a small box - Stray Bullets #32
  • Mid September: Virginia finds out Craig is having an affair. On her mother's birthday, Virginia presents her with framed photos of Craig having sex with his other woman - Stray Bullets #36
  • October 6th: Virginia beats up one of the jocks, so that she can join ranks with the burnouts. Kevin threatens Virginia, but head burnout Jesse interrupts and the two almost start fighting. Virginia lets down Marty's car tyres & sprays it, Marty comes out of the house drunk but doesn't see her. Virginia takes Leon to the burnout party, which is crashed by the jocks. Kevin & Jesse face off, yelling at each other while Virginia & Leon watch from the roof. Virginia throws a shingle from the roof which cuts Kevin's face, and a mass brawl ensues while they watch - Stray Bullets #33
  • November: Tony joins the football team with Kevin, and is dating Stephanie, who Kevin has been sweet on for years. Kevin threatens Stephanie, and says she can't date anyone until she pays up. Kevin takes Tony out with a bunch of friends, drinking & brawling, before going to see Django, an ex-footballer. They get wasted, and play a game of strip poker. Tony wins, but his prize turns out to be that he has to have sex with Nancy, who Kevin makes clear has done the same with all of them. Kevin takes pictures, and blackmails Tony into breaking up with Stephanie so he can go out with her - Stray Bullets #35

  • January: Mike Hussey arrives in Baltimore and joins the football team, amid a flurry of rumours about what he did in the past. Meanwhile, Stephanie has gone missing, and Virginia leaves Jesse & the burnouts. Kevin & the football team discuss Stephanie's whereabouts and rumours of a plot by the burnouts, while Virginia eavesdrops. The police call, looking for Kevin, and Virginia sees Kevin's father Marty leaving his shed. Mike tells the football team he'll sort Jesse out, and pulls out a gun. Virginia confronts Jesse, and finds out he's keeping Stephanie in a house in the woods. Mike gives Jesse's drunk mother vodka, sleeps with her & films it, using the tape to blackmail Jesse into giving Stephanie back. Mike tells Jesse to take off his clothes, and that he's going to beat him. Later, Stephanie comes back to school, and the word is that Kevin & the team rescued her from Jesse. Virginia & Mike finally meet - Stray Bullets #37
  • March: Leon tells Virginia what he has heard about Mike Hussey - that his best friend disappeared and he was accused of rape but the charges dropped. The two go to Kevin's house to spy on him and Stephanie for Tony. They break into Marty's shed on the way, and discover a load of empty beer bottles and a locked box. Kevin is getting nowhere with Stephanie, and Mike comes out of hiding with a gun. He tells Stephanie about Tony sleeping with Nancy at Django's house, but Kevin says that the pictures that prove it are still there. Virginia cuts Kevin's tyres and races off to see Django. She bluffs her way in, tricks Django into taking way too many drugs, and escapes with the pictures and negatives before Mike & Kevin show up - Stray Bullets #38
  • Spring Break: Leon & Virginia read a postcard from Tony thanking them for the help. Mike shows up, suspecting they are behind the theft of the pictures - he reads the postcard, which confirms it. He draws his gun, and tells them to come with him - Stray Bullets #38
  • April: Kevin argues with his little brother, who he thinks has taken his knife. As Marty is getting ready to leave for work, Kevin drags Virginia, beaten and bound, out of the shed. Marty notices the shed is unlocked, but is relieved to see his box is still locked. Mike calls round, and they beat up on Virginia, unseen by Marty. Marty realises he's late, and as he leaves he is caught by a waiting Dez Finger. Finger gives Marty a package of cocaine, which he puts into his locked box. Marty goes back into the house, has a few beers, and quietly freaks out. When he hears a door bang, he hides under a blanket, not seeing that it's Virginia running from Mike & Kevin. He continues drinking, oblivious to the violence - Stray Bullets #40
  • Mike & Kevin lock Virginia in the box. Virginia taunts Kevin from inside, and Kevin wants to leave but Mike tells him to rape Virginia. Virginia claims to have a knife, and Kevin continues to stall, so Mike beats him and opens the box to show him she's lying. Mike rapes Kevin, and Virginia, who really did have a knife, escapes from the box - Open the Goddamn Box
  • A few days later, Finger comes to pick up the package. Marty goes into his shed to find his box open and empty, along with a cut section of rope. He locks himself inside his shed - Stray Bullets #40
  • Kevin tells his father everything, who shows Mike his missing little fingers and tells him the person that did it wants his cocaine back. Mike vows to find Virginia and the drugs. Leon buys some food for Virginia, who is hiding out at his friend Hoyt's basement. Mike & Kevin turn up and take Leon, leaving Hoyt to deliver the food. Hoyt smuggles Virginia out in a basket of washing, and she escapes while Hoyt is being interrogated by one of the football team, who are looking for her. Mike & Kevin beat up Jesse asking about Virginia, and are interrupted by his mother. Mike guns her down, and kills Jesse too. Virginia visits Marty, and gets him to phone Dez Finger to ask him to meet. She leaves a note for Mike & Kevin asking to meet to exchange the cocaine for Leon. At the meet, Dez Finger is there, and Mike pulls a gun on him. Marty in turn pulls a gun on Mike, and Finger knocks the gun out of Mike's hand while he's distracted. Marty tries to shoot Finger but his gun isn't loaded. Virginia tells Finger where the drugs are, and he lets Mike go. Mike & Virginia fight, and she bites his thumb off before stabbing him in the leg. Mike grabs the gun, but accidentally shoots Kevin in the shoulder. Virginia is about to kill Mike, but Finger stops her and Mike tells her where Leon is. Some time later, Virginia visits Leon and tells him she's leaving before there's more trouble. Leon cries, Virginia agrees to stay, and they end up sleeping together. Virginia sneaks out in the night, while Leon is asleep - Stray Bullets #41
  • August: Philip & Rachel check into a motel, run by Frank. Frank phones Harry to tell him they're there. It is Philip's birthday, and his wife Cynthia doesn't know he's there. Philip is trying to end the affair, but Rachel seduces him. She blindfolds him during sex, and secretly phones his wife so she can hear. Cynthia is devastated, but when Philip phones her she doesn't say anything and agrees to meet. Philip breaks things off with Rachel. Frank knocks at their door, and brings Monster & Blue Ed in. Monster asks Philip, who is a maths professor, to read a message in mathematical code for his boss. Philip refuses, and Monster beats him up. Harry calls Monster, and Blue Ed is called in to watch them while he takes the call. A fight ensues, and Rachel grabs Ed's gun and shoots him before fleeing with Philip. Frank shoots Philip as they run, and Monster gives chase. Frank torches the motel, and Rachel calls the cops. Frank flees the scene with Monster and a dying Blue Ed in one car, Rachel with a dying Philip in another - Stray Bullets #20
  • September: Virginia is staying with Marisol, a friend of Dez Finger. Finger asks Virginia to babysit his kids while he takes his wife out, and to find out where she keeps the emergency money. Finger has newborn twins that he didn't tell Virginia about, and she eventually finds the money in their room. Finger calls, saying someone tried to shoot him but shot his wife instead, and that Marisol is on her way to pick up her, the family, and the money. When they arrive at Marisol's, she opens the bag but the money is not there - Virginia has given it to Finger's eldest daughter to hide. Finger turns up - Killers #3
  • November: Virginia visits her Aunt Jane, who feeds her and gives her a place to stay. In the night, she hears her aunt shouting at her Uncle Jack, who is in the shed - Virginia looks in the shed but her uncle looks catatonic. In the morning, Eli, son of a friend of Aunt Jane, calls round - Aunt Jane tells him to show Virginia around. They hit it off, and Eli shows Virginia his prosthetic leg, telling her about the car wreck when he was young. That night, Virginia sees her uncle looking in the window, but he runs off to his shed again. Next day, they give Eli's cousin Adam a lift - he is rude to Virginia and she almost pulls a knife on him, but Eli stops her. They get drunk in the arcade, and end up sleeping together. Eli says that Jane told him her uncle was on medication after their son died but has stopped, and now just sits in the shed all the time. Virginia finds Jack's medication, takes it to the shed for him, and yells at him to try and bring him round. In the morning Jack has slit his wrists in the shed - Killers #2
  • December: Virginia & Eli need a place to sleep together, and she takes him to Dez Finger's beach house. After they sleep together, Virginia shows him the gun that's kept in the bathroom. Next day, Eli has to pick up his sister, and lets Virginia babysit while he also picks up his mother. His mother does not approve of Virginia, and tries to hit her when they return, but Eli stops her. Virginia & Eli run off, and go to the beach house again. A few days later, Eli says he thinks they should go home, and Virginia says they should cool things off between them. After that, she won't talk to him on the phone, and Eli is upset. He goes to the beach house & gets the gun, but hasn't got the nerve to shoot himself. Virginia turns up, and Eli accidentally shoots himself in his prosthetic foot.   • April 30th: Eli gets accepted into art college, and wants to tell his old tutor Paul, who Virginia doesn't like - she and her cousin Michael were threatened by him years ago. They go for lunch on the way - Adam shows up and his friends spikes Virginia's drink. Virginia starts feeling woozy while they're at Paul's, and he once again threatens her to keep away. She feels sick, and they leave, but Virginia thinks she sees Michael's toy plane on the way out - Killers #6
  • May 1st: Virginia tells Eli about Michael, who drowned when they were young. They go back to Paul's house that night, and Eli distracts him while Virginia breaks in to look around his secret room. Paul gives the toy plane back to Eli, saying he found it before Michael died but never gave it back to his parents. Virginia & Eli argue about Paul - Killers #6
  • May 14th: Virginia & Eli go to a baseball game in Baltimore, then go to visit Marisol. They talk about Beth, who is in prison, and Dez Finger, who is at war with Kretchmeyer. Eli is freaked out, and tells Virginia she can't see these people any more. A gunfight breaks out in Marisol's shop, and she is shot. Virginia gathers the drugs and escapes with Eli. They go to visit Dez Finger to warn him about Kretchmeyer, who Virginia assumes is behind the shooting. Finger has Kretchmeyer's brother, and leaves him with Virginia and a gun while he gets news about Marisol - Killers #7
  • Dez Finger tells Virginia to get out, and that the beach house is compromised - Killers #8
  • June: Virginia goes back to Dez Finger's beach house, and reminisces about Eli. Adam visits Eli, and gives him $1000 to take his girlfriend Jane for an abortion. She doesn't want to go through with it, so Eli takes her to the beach house, where they end up having sex. Blue Ed, who is working for Kretchmeyer, is watching from a car, and assumes that Jane is Finger's daughter. Virginia has worked out that Eli is at the beach house, and turns up just as Blue Ed comes in, guns blazing. Virginia distracts him while Eli gets the gun from the bathroom with Jane. She kills Blue Ed with her knife, grabs his gun, and shoots his buddy. She enters the bathroom where Eli is hiding out with Jane in the bathtub, still both half-naked - Killers #8

1997:[]

  • Summer: Frank & Joey are driving at night, and get a flat tyre. Joey gets the spare - there is a body in the trunk. Joey gets the body out - Frank says it's Harry's girl and that Joey had a freebie before Harry killed her. A cop stops, and notices the blood on the ground by the car. Joey shoots the cop, thinking he'd seen the body, and they put him in the trunk along with the girl. They stop at a gas station diner for Joey to use the bathroom, and when he returns he think someone is looking in the trunk of their car. Joey guns him down, along with a gas station attendant who sees. The diner's chef comes out with a shotgun, and Frank shoots him. Joey grabs the shotgun, goes into the diner, and shoots all the witnesses. Frank blows the gas station, and they escape with a car full of corpses. They are about to dump the car in a lake, when Joey starts talking about killing Harry in return for killing the girl, saying they were in love and going to get married. Frank drags her body out of the car, calling her a whore, and Joey shoots him, saying her name is Janice. He buries her body, and walks off vowing to make Harry pay, leaving the car full of corpses in full view behind him - Stray Bullets #1
