Do you provide the liquor, beer or wine?
All of the liquor, wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages are purchased and supplied by you the host. We do work with you to make a shopping list in advance of the party to make sure that we have a fully stocked bar for the party. This will be based on the number of guests and your budget. When you hire a bartender you will also be receiving our recommendations based on our party bartending experience.
What else do I need to provide?
In addition to your beverages you will need to supply ice, cocktail garnishes, mixers, juices, napkins and glasses. Included in our bartending services is the pre-party consultation to prepare the shopping list of what will be needed for the bar. The bartender will arrive an hour before the party to setup during that time cut and prepare the garnishes.
What does Straight Up Bartending Provide?
We provide a professionally attired personable experienced bartender. We can also supply at your request additional items that you may not have available to set up the bar. Ice Coolers, for fresh ice and chilling beverages. Bar height tables covered and draped for preparing and serving drinks. Wine, cocktail and beer glasses to accommodate the number of guests.
How much will it cost?
Depending on how many guests will be attending, how long the party will last and any special requests will determine the cost of our bartending services. After we discuss with you your requirements we will provide a written price quotation for the bartending service.
What about gratuities and tipping ?
You can express your satisfaction with the bartenders service by permitting the bartender to place a tip jar in the bar area , often this would be at a public venue. For parties in the home you may give a cash tip based on your satisfaction with the bartending services directly to the bartender after the party.
