If you are into the sound Hi Records was putting out in the early to mid 70's (and who isn't) this is an essential record to have.- Fun, rich sounding, soulful music. Quality cut and press. The vocal sounds overblown in parts.
Giving it a second spin and it's that good. Ann's voice is fantastic.
Great pressing and love the 1971 Memphis sound. Special ordered it and took forever to receive (but worth the wait)- Zero noise or pressing defects, super clean playthrough sounds amazing and of course very Al Green-esque production wise which really shines here. Speakers Corner delivers another better than MOFI product for half the price AGAIN!

After a good clean this is stunning..Good job from Mr Kevin Gray and Speakers Corner! Dead flat and flawless. Shame there are no liner notes or photos etc...but hey, great funky, soulful tunes
I must agree here, the pressing is really outstanding. Worth every penny. And the jams are class as well.- My itunes stream from my cell phone sounds better than this pressing.
Fantastic record for starters, but the pressing is also amazing, dynamic sound and Peebles voice shines through! Any fans of soul need to get this!
