Steve Morison: Cardiff City interim boss stays in charge as ex-skipper Mark Hudson returns as coach

Cardiff City have confirmed caretaker manager Steve Morison will stay in charge until the end of the season.
The ex-Wales striker was named interim boss when Mick McCarthy left the club last month.
Former Bluebirds captain Mark Hudson, who made more than 160 appearances for the club, has returned as first-team coach.
The club's owner Vincent Tan has been impressed by Morison's impact since McCarthy's departure.
Cardiff have picked up four points from three matches under Morison and fellow under-23 coach Tom Ramasut, with last Saturday's win over Huddersfield ending a winless run of 10 Championship games.
"I have been encouraged by the team's improved performances over the past three games, with the adoption of a more attractive and progressive style of football," Tan said.
"What's more, I think that the excellent work done by Steve and Tom at under-23 level this season puts them in the very best position to help develop a talented crop of young players emerging at senior level. I'm also very pleased that Mark is returning to the club as part of the coaching set-up.
"A healthy finish in the Championship this season is, of course, of paramount importance. A review of the side's progress will be undertaken at the end of the campaign."
Cardiff had also considered former Chelsea assistant bosses Eddie Newton and Jody Morris as well as ex-Rangers coach Michael Beale, who is expected to follow manager Steven Gerrard to Aston Villa.
Hudson made more than 160 appearances for the Bluebirds after joining from Charlton Athletic in 2009.
He captained the team to their League Cup final appearance in 2012 before leading them to promotion to the Premier League.
Hudson joined Huddersfield in 2014 and, after retiring from playing, took up coaching with Terriers under then manager David Wagner.
The Guildford-born centre-back became under-23 coach at Huddersfield in 2018 and had two caretaker manager stints at the club before leaving in 2020.
