Such a clever, fun, witty, feel good kinda movie. Liza shines as...well...Liza, and the rest of the character actors around her take queue from that. Julie Waters is always a delight in her British kinda way. Then there's Shelly Winters who almost steals the movie away from the dancers...don't faint...she ain't dancing, she's at the piano as comic fodder and works it for all it's worth. This movie and MIXED NUTS with Steve Martin should be a package deal - just goo clean fun from start to end. Worth seeing over and over again to catch all the one-liners and that one solo dance scene where Miss Liza does what she does best....give you 10000000% and make you feel like you could be a part of this zany ensemble as well~!
