John Doyle Globe and Mail Stath Lets Flats is a little masterpiece of British weirdness. There hasn't been a comedy as strange as this since the original British version of The Office. And while it owes a debt to that classic, it is entirely its own universe. Sep 15, 2021 Full Review Tristram Fane Saunders Daily Telegraph (UK) Given the dire state of the current housing crisis, it's surprising that there wasn't a sitcom about letting agents sooner. Rated: 3/5 Jun 29, 2018 Full Review Sam Wollaston Guardian Lovely performances and character creation from both [Stath and Sophie], and there is - unsurprisingly - a genuine relationship between them. Rated: 3/5 Jun 28, 2018 Full Review Farah Cheded A Good Movie To Watch An utterly unique shot of ludicrous character comedy that ranks among TV’s very best. Dec 8, 2023 Full Review Alison Rowat The Herald (Scotland) This was comedy of the silly clot kind, as when Stath tried to get a pigeon out of a loft, causing maximum damage, Frank Spencer-style. Julie H Every single second of this show makes me belly laugh. I've watched every season over again and the more I watch it the funnier it gets😭😭 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/07/23 Full Review andrea e Looking for something easy to watch and this was actually recommended on Wired. I really like the Demetrious siblings, so I went in with high hopes. Dashed hopes. This is so not funny, it's um not even funny. Stath is so inept, it's almost like laughing at a mentally handicapped person. Except that, again, it's not funny. I guess if you like inane antics like Mr Bean, go for it. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review phil v Absolutely gobsmacked that this is Bafta-award-winning and that people find it funny. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member This show is so funny and reminds me of the UK's The Office. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member There are moments of hilarity in here, but this is quite a silly show and after a couple episodes the characters' antics become predictable and repetitive... Stath's frenzied mumbling and word-smashing are funny in small doses, but grating over the course of seven episodes. Maybe that's just an aspect of British humor that I don't understand? This was billed as "scratching 'The Office' itch" by some media outlets, but I didn't get that impression. It was mildly amusing but one season of Stath is enough for me. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Laugh out loud funny and almost unbearably cringe. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
