About
North America's third-largest park draws eight million visitors per year, many of whom may skate or walk past you on the Seawall, a scenic, 5.5-mile path running along the water on the park's perimeter. It's just one of many trails among the park's 1,000 acres, which also house an aquarium, nature center and other recreational facilities.

Stanley Park is Vancouver's premier spot to get up close and personal with nature and animals. The grassy expanse offers outdoor teahouses and stunning views, beachfront hideaways and splash parks. It is a typical getaway spot for friends and families, especially as it is home to Vancouver's aquarium, and some of its best equestrian outlets.

    Great place
Huge park and lots of things to do as family. Get the map from info centre, You can walk or rent a bike. We spent around 3 hours here. We had carriage horse ride that took us around the park for 1 hour.

    Big place to explore
The park is beautiful and huge. We saw the Totem Poles with our organized tour and returned in a few days time to see more of the park. We walked along the sea wall (not the whole length), had a relaxing morning walk around the Beaver lake, and visited the Aquarium. Highly recommended, don’t forget your good walking shoes and a map. A place we intended to have lunch (Prospect Point Bar and Grill) was closed, so we ended up walking to the Pavilion, where we had a lovely meal.

We’ll set up for a walk or cycle…….
We hired e-bikes for a day and spent a good deal of time in the park and travelling around it. It is an easy walk or ride and it is well set up for both cyclists and pedestrians. It is not just flora and fauna but information and artefacts reflecting the local indigenous communities. A very nice way to spend the best part of a day.

    Loved the sea wall walk
Walking along the sea wall was amazing. We walked the part underneath the bridge near the lighthouse and it did not disappoint. I would definitely recommend this section if you are short on time. A must see in Vancouver.

    Well worth a visit
Lovely walking trails and wildlife to be seen in a peaceful setting if you set aside the road running through it! The aquarium is well worth a visit and is actually good value. We took the bus there but it’s a pleasant, short and easy walk back to the harbour when you return

    Beautiful Stanley Park
Lovely Public Park in Vancouver, setting by the Harbour and lovely walks. We went there on a Canadian Public Holiday but found Parking which once paid can be used anywhere in the Park. Even so not over busy and after a long flight a good place to relax.

    Beautiful Stanley Park
Lovely place to chill out. We managed to go on a Public Holiday but parked OK and the fee includes parking any number of places within the Park. Lovely Setting with the famous Totem Poles and views of the Mountains and harbour. And an awesome gift shop too.

Lovely park, great sea wall walk.
If you are up to it do the 5/6 mile sea wall walk for some great views, but just to be out in the air. We did this by taking a bus (150) from downtown and then just followed the path. It can be a bit much if you are not up for long walks, although there are cafe's along the walk. But don't be a numpty like us and completely miss one of the reasons we did the walk and miss the totem poles. Whoops.

    Wow!!!
What a cool thing to do. Highly recommend renting a bike. We did ours on our own as opposed to getting a tour group and it worked well for our group (ranging in ages 9-73). It is one of the coolest parts of the city and not to be missed.

We were awake early so we walked up to Stanley Park. It was just right with the number of people. What fantastic views, information boards and refreshment offerings. We had a lovely morning exploring.

Well worth putting on the comfy shoes and making the most of a nice day 😊

We rented a couple of bikes and cycled the outskirts, all easy and flat to follow. Lots of parking available throughout the park and worth visiting if in the city

Drive there so you can see the whole park. No problem parking and it’s reasonable. Plan to spend at least 3 hours there. Lot of good spots for pictures.

WThe weather was very nice over the weekend, so we took the Skytrain from Richmond to downtown to have a look around . We got on at the Brighouse station and rode to City Centre, then walked a short distance to catch the 19 bus . It was surprisingly crowded on the bus.

There were quite a lot of people going to the park, but because it's quite spacious, it was still comfortable (apparently, it's the third-largest municipal park in North America). We mostly followed the seawall, enjoying views of the blue sky, white clouds, and the ocean, while listening to the sound of the waves, which was very pleasant . The pedestrian and bike lanes were separate, which was also very safe.

Along the way, there was a gift shop where you could buy souvenirs like fridge magnets. There's a statue by the seaside that looks quite like the Little Mermaid in Denmark, but it's actually called "Girl in a Wetsuit," reportedly a gift from a sculptor to a friend.

It feels like a nice place to visit in spring too, and you should be able to see the snow-capped mountains .

Stanley Park is a 1,000 Acre Park iin Vancouver British Columbia.. There are 2 Public Swimming Pools. Second Street Pool and Kitsalano Pool. Both are excellent. The people are friendly and the Ocean View is wonderful.
There is a path where people walk, Bicycle and Roller Blade around the Perimeter of the park.
There are Snack bars and plenty of people walking their dogs

I was a bit disappointed by Stanley Park based on what I had heard. The views of the skyline were a highlight. The ocean/coastal views were average. The biggest issue was that it is extremely crowded. Even on a Tuesday in March, it was hard to get room to bike along the seawall without frequent interruptions.

A park where you can feel nature and peace. It is a very suitable park to get away from the chaos of the city and transportation is very easy.
