A nice well kept park. Great for viewing animals like birds and turtles and a fun and easy walk with a number of different trails.

Every time I visit I find something new. There are lots of trails of all different lengths, some with bridges. The Westfield State students created beautiful trail markers and maps. There is a beautiful rose garden where many, including myself can get married. There’s a duck pond with a covered bridge and some more trails. You can bring your children to the playground or book the pavilion for a party. Worth a trip into Westfield to visit.

So, the idea of running on pavement literally makes my knees and legs ache. A friend introduced me to trail running and I found the miles of incredible trails at Stanley Park. The trails are marked, clear and scenic. It’s shaded, quiet and for a few miles each day I get to run around the woods like a 10 year old. It’s awesome!!!
