Not sure what to say?

Stanley was a good long-time uncle whom I remember well for his energy, youthfulness and sense of humor. He was devoted to family. One of my earliest memories was of his giving me a shoulder ride in Brooklyn when I was about four years old (maybe because I sort of wet myself laughing). Oops, I said this two years ago. Then, years later I was amazed how he drove from and back to Philly from L.I. for a family occasion when he was well into his eighties.

I remember Uncle Stanley took me (Arnold) and Jerry, and I think- Gwenn, to a Yankee doubleheader in the early'50's, though we had to leave after the first game. Also, among my earliest memories were that my Grandpa Brooks and Uncle Stanley each, on separate occasions probably close in time, took me for a shoulder ride down the street when I was about four years old and his sister Dorothy and family were living in Brooklyn. I was giggling so much that I wet my pants with one or both of them.

To Aunt Millie and my cousins:
My condolences and on behalf of my children, on the passing of Uncle Stanley. He was a good man and devoted to the extended family. I sincerely appreciate how he looked after his sister- my dear mom. May his memory be cherished. Arnold (Tranes)

Dear Millie and family,
