Stacey Solomon 'held hostage' by kids ahead of This Morning appearance
Stacey Solomon has revealed that she's been 'held hostage' ahead of her appearance on ITV's This Morning on Monday, 15 April.
The 34 year old TV and social media star has been enjoying some time away at a caravan park with her husband of almost two years, Joe Swash, 42, and their three young children, Rex, four, Rose, two, and baby Belle. Stacey's two older sons from previous relationships didn't appear to have joined them.
Stacey has shared plenty of insight to the wholesome family trip, as the clan enjoyed swimming, balloon-making and long walks.
But on Sunday, 15 April, Stacey took to her Instagram stories to share a video as she rested her head on Joe's shoulder and revealed that her and Joe's children had 'held them hostage' at the campsite. They were due to leave that day, but Stacey shared that all of the young children started crying as they didn't want to leave.
She wrote over the video: "Being held hostage in the campsite, they don't want to leave! We were supposed to go home this afternoon but the kids cried their eyes out so we are staying one more night and I'm leaving them here while I go to This Morning tomorrow."
Speaking to the camera, she said: "We're still in this blooming caravan," before Joe interjected: "The kids won't let us go home," to which she replied: "Neither will you!"
Joe then said: "I'm keeping her hostage," as Stacey explained: "I've got to go on This Morning in the morning, I've got work." Her husband joked: "I reckon there's a 75 per cent chance that we're not gonna let her go to This Morning," as Stacey insisted: "I'm going, I can't just not turn up."
Joe then declared them "caravan people now" as Stacey said "we can't stay forever", although she admitted that their kids "don't want to leave".
On 24 July, 2022, Joe and Stacey married in a whimsical backyard wedding at their £1.3million home, which they affectionately named 'Pickle Cottage'. After their wedding, she shared a heart-warming video of their "magical" first dance, where she was seen getting teary-eyed during the beautiful moment.
The I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! champ looked absolutely stunning in an off-white princess gown as she slow danced with Joe to a slowed down version of Whitney Houston's My Love Is Your Love, while their wedding guests waved sparklers around them on the expansive lawn of their picturesque home.
