From Saint Peter's Prep
Each day, students from throughout the region cross paths at the corner of Grand and Warren Streets in Jersey City. Some have walked a few blocks. Some have ridden two or three trains. Some have arrived by car. Whether they have traveled from near or far, all have reached the starting point of a much longer and more meaningful journey. These young men are unique individuals; their backgrounds as diverse as their interests and their hopes for the future.
Together, inspired by outstanding administration, faculty and staff, club moderators and coaches, and guided by the proud tradition of Jesuit education, they form a tight-knit community and strive to become "men for others" - adults who will not only excel in their chosen fields, but become true leaders through their call to serve. The lessons learned and friendships forged here will remain with them wherever their paths may lead. That's why we say it's not just Prep for four years...it's Prep for life!

Attending Saint Peter's Prep has been the decision of a lifetime. The school has stellar academics, supportive teachers, and most of all a warm community of students where brotherhood is everywhere. By your junior year, you will be giving a high five or saying hi to a different student every few seconds when walking between classes. That is how friendly everyone is towards one another, out of a shared love for the school. In terms of academics, I have been able to satisfy my rigorous academic desires, taking 10 AP courses and even being able to take Multivariable Calculus as an online class. The school administration is always willing to listen to the requests of students, and for the upcoming year it will offer AP Seminar, as well as AP macro and Microeconomics online, due to the show interest of many students wishing to take these classes. There are many sports and clubs to get involved in as well, and I have been able to build myself a busy schedule with many leadership positions.
I had a lot of fun during my time at Saint Peter's Preparatory School. The camaraderie was amazing and made me feel included in all the activities and events that went on and there are so many clubs and athletics to get involved in. The academic vigor is tough and it prepares you well for college. From AP courses, academic clubs, and community service opportunities, you can take advantage of them and quickly get involved. You gain a lot of experience, training, and memories from it especially from helping people and learning more about society and what it means to be a Prep man for others. Saint Peter's Prep motto is Men for Others which means a person who is humble and provides for others without seeking a reward or gratification. He does it out of love for the person and to help them. I graduated from Prep in 2023 and it was considered a "home" because of how close-knit the community was and how people greatly transformed me to be more confident.
It's not just Prep for four years; it's Prep for life." If you talk to any St. Peter's Prep alumnus about their time at the school, these words are almost guaranteed to come up, and for good reason. For four years, St. Peter's Prep molds you into a young man who is intellectually curious through its rigorous selection of AP and honors courses. It fosters a sense of community through numerous service trips, both domestic and international, as well as group fundraising events such as Mission Drive and the Great Ignatian Challenge. Additionally, it provides ample opportunities for involvement within the Prep community, including culture clubs, academic bowl competitions, and more. All of these attributes contribute to the great character you will build at St. Peter's, which is why this Jesuit education is not just for four years; it's for life.
