The actress Melissa Barrera said she would “love” to work with Jenna Ortega again and bets that the two would meet in a new terror.
Barrera and Ortega starred “Scream 5” their first film together, and also the sequel “Scream 6” . Neither of them are in the franchise anymore.
“I would love to work with her again. I know she loves horror, so we would probably meet again in something horror,” Melissa Barrera told Comicbook.
“She's amazing and is genuinely a horror fan, so I know she's constantly on the lookout for these projects. I think if we did something together again, it would definitely be horror,” she added.
The two actresses were confirmed to participate in “Scream 7”, but Barrera was fired from the film's cast after posting on social media about the war in Israel and declaring support for Palestine.
The magazine Variety, The film's producer, Spyglass Media Group, called the support “anti-Semitism” and said it has “zero tolerance” for it.
The day after Barrera's dismissal, Jenna Ortega also left the film's cast. The decision does not appear to be related to the colleague's departure and, according to the deadlineoccurred because the filming schedule for the second season of “Wandinha” clashed with the filming of the horror film.
