South Oak Cliff High School Reviews
Rating 3.67 out of 5 216 reviews
I've learned a lot as a student at South Oak Cliff. More notably being in the collegiate program. I was anxious about how I would be able to keep up with the demanding schoolwork, but I was also thrilled about the chance to start my college career early. In addition, I was still fully devoted to my love of cheerleading and dancing, which took a lot of time and effort. I was accustomed to a predetermined routine in high school, but I had to make my own in college. I had to schedule my days meticulously to make sure I had enough time for my classes, homework, and practice, I had to carefully schedule my days. To keep up with my obligations, I had to give up my social life and weekends. Striking a balance between my extracurricular and academic obligations was a never-ending battle. I gained important life skills from it, like flexibility, priority, and time management. My time at South Oak Cliff was full of learning and growing thanks to the people in it from teachers to students.
South Oak Cliff has been amazing for my last two years of high school. The staff truly believe in my dreams, and do whatever they can do to help me succeed academically. Their collegiate program has also prepared me for four-year universities. I have truly learned the real definition of balance, dedication and prioritizing.
South Oak Cliff has potential to be one of the best schools for education, there's a strong collegiate program within the school that gives students a touch of college. I feel like difficulty in classes needs to be increased for students to get more out of the experience.
