I appreciate a lot of the versatility within this album. The production is simplistic but it works here, I think Towa was going for a minimalist/modern type of atmosphere within this project and I think he executed that very well. The overall sound seems sophisticated and I haven't really heard anything like it. An odd mixture of house, nu jazz, rap and drum and bass. Some of the songs are really amazing and the production is extremely consistently good and proceeds to amaze with every other new song. Really love the oddness of this album and its flaws give it more of a sparkle than any other Towa Tei album. The Mos Def feature really disappointed with underwhelming contributions from both Mos and Biz Markie, also the production on that song and that song only is what I could only consider as lacking ... read more

One of my favorite techno albums ever. Absolutely intuitive and genius decisions were made here concerning production and sound quality. I love Everything we do is music the most, but GBI is a close second while most other songs on the album kind of fall in the same category for me. I would say the Biz Markie and Mos Def songs were surprisingly not that good, but still, a great album.
