Song Joong Ki refreshed the viewers' memories and delighted them with his comeback as the iconic Vincenzo Cassano in Netflix's "Queen of Tears."

In "Queen of Tears" Episode 8, which aired on March 31, the weekend drama once again delivered a favorable broadcast for the unexpected appearance of a familiar face.

Song Joong Ki made a surprising cameo in the series, bringing back to life his famous character Vincenzo Cassano. In the current drama, he is the competent divorce attorney for Hong Hae In (Kim Ji Won).

The unexpected return of the character gave viewers nostalgia. This was made possible thanks to director Kim Hee Won, who also helmed "Vincenzo." He is also under the same label as Kim Ji Won.

Song Joong Ki's Past Drama Characters Mentioned in 'Queen of Tears'

The creatives made a brilliant way of mentioning all of Song Joong Ki's drama roles during his brief screentime in "Queen of Tears."

In his scenes, Kim Yang Gi, who plays Baek Hyun Woo's friend Moon Tae Yu, introduced Vincenzo to Hong Hae In's husband.

"He's a terrifying man. There are rumors about who he is. The youngest heir of a conglomerate. A former soldier deployed overseas. Someone who came here on a spaceship. Others say he's a werewolf. His name is Vincenzo. And he is from the mafia."

"Vincenzo" and "Queen of Tears" fans could not get enough for the clash of their universes. Many viewers were delighted to see three big names in the industry sharing a frame.

The cameo also resurfaced all of Song Joong Ki's past works with the "Queen of Tears" stars, too. He and Kim Ji Won headlined both "Descendants of the Sun" and "Arthdal Chronicles."

Meanwhile, Song Joong Ki and Kim Soo Hyun appeared in "Will It Snow for Christmas?"

This is not the first time that tvN's "Queen of Tears" wowed the audience with its star-studded cameos.

Earlier, in episode 1 "It's Okay Not To Be Okay" actor Oh Jung See appeared and reunited with his former co-star Kim Soo Hyun.

Kim Young Min, Lim Chul Soo, and Ko Kyu Pil, who were in "Crash Landing on You," also appeared and are currently making progress with their respective roles in the series.

After watching Vincenzo in "Queen of Tears," fans expressed their sentiments over his comeback.
