As an alumnus of the Snowden International High School, I can say that the school's impact on students plays a big role in one's future. I am a college freshman and can say that the schools have taught and prepared me well for what I was about to face when taking another step into life. The school provided me with much help and guidance both educationally and socially. As an IB student, I could easily adapt to the workload brought to me as a college student thanks to the school's two-year IB program. However, I feel as though the school could use a few improvements in the administration in terms of building the community in the school.
My overall experience was challenging but fun. my freshmen year we was on zoom most of the year so it was harder to communicate to teachers for help and I was not motivated to do work really but I finished anyways. Skipping to my junior and senior year I enrolled into full IB classes some HL and some SL level classes and many of these classes are challenging but would really help me with college in these coming next years.
Wonderful IB program and the staff try their best but overall not that great of a secure school that make student feel safe
