This summer program is open to all youth regardless of what school they are assigned to or attend during the school year. They have to be a Boston Resident and be available July 8- August 16th.

The Black Educators Group is currently gearing up for our Inaugural HBCU Gala. This event will be our annual fundraiser to provide students with the transformative experience of an HBCU Tour. We would like to extend an invitation for you to join us for a night of community, connectivity, and comradery where we will celebrate our students and highlight the outstanding achievements of some of Boston's trailblazers. This event will take place on Friday, March 8th at the Bruce C. Bolling Municipal Building. We are asking that interested staff members please RSVP by this Friday, March 1st. We hope that you choose to attend and partake in this joyous occasion as we create and celebrate history together.

We're thrilled to take a moment to recognize and celebrate the incredible achievements of our winter sports athletes! The Senior Night has always been a special occasion, marking not just the end of the season, but also celebrating the remarkable contributions of our senior athletes to our athletic program. February Acceleration Academy is happening during February Break. Ms. Vasconcelos is the site coordinator and will be accepting all reservations. Any student interested in attending February Acceleration Academy should email Ms. Vasconcelos at [email protected] no later than Friday, February 9th.

Snowden Student Government is hosting a Spirit Week in the week of February 12th. Everyone is encouraged to participate!

Ms. Infante invites all Snowden staff to join her for an intro to hip hop dance class this week. Interested staff can sign up. Class times are: 
Monday, Feb. 5th: 1st, 3rd, 4th Block
Tuesday, Feb. 6th: 1st, 3rd, 4th Block
Wednesday, Feb. 7th: 1st Bloc

The remarkable kick-off of our After School Academic Center opened yesterday. With enthusiasm and dedication, we welcomed over 20 students, creating an environment where both teachers and students were able to seamlessly connect and engage throughout the entire two-hour session. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with work accomplished and an abundance of fun had by all.

Chinese Food Sale in Cafeteria on Jan. 24 was a huge success. Students watched the presentation about Chinese New Year culture and traditions put together by Chinese 4 and IB class. Click this link for some photos.
