A woman was walking along the road, filming a reel for social media platform, when a biker approached her from front and snatched her chain. The incident took place Ghaziabad's Indirapuram. As the woman was shooting a video, the entire incident of chain-snatching was captured on camera.
In the video that has now gone viral, the woman, clad in a salwar suit, can be seen slowly walking towards the camera when a biker is seen entering the video frame. The culprit's face is not seen clearly as he is wearing a helmet. The woman seemed annoyed by the person interrupting her video, but before she can voice her complaint, the man is seen snatching her chin and fleeing.
The victim, Sushma, has lodged a complaint with the police, who are now on the lookout for the accused.
Speaking about the incident, Swatantra Kumar Singh, ACP Indirapuram, said, "Today, on March 24, a video has gone viral on social media showing a chain snatching incident. The matter has been registered and a probe is underway."
