Now the bad stuff. The administration at Skidmore is NOT just incompetent they are grossly negligent. The school markets itself as a small college were students are the focus, but, as a student with a learning disability, I have received NO SUPPORT from the disabilities office in conflicts were professors refuse to provide accommodations legally obligated of them. On-campus housing regularly has faulty appliances, mold was painted over (and still clearly visible), and key card door locks regularly malfunction (allowing anyone access to private residences). The counseling center advertises licensed therapists but regularly turns away students they deem "outside their capabilities." Also, courses offered regularly don't appear on the class registration page.
