I miss Skeeter Davis on the radio
There. I said it. I miss hearing "The End of the World" on my Pip-Boy.
I agree, it's a good song.
Edit: read some other comments and. All songs in fallout are amazing. But I feel we should hear country roads more. At this point it's legacy
Fav FO song next to Crawl Out Through the Fallout.
I'm a jingle jangle fan, myself. The Skeeter Davis song is definitely in the top five for me though.
Or my personal favorite is big iron
You do you, but I absolutely cannot stand Crawl Out.
The singer just feels so obnoxious and loud. And then there's that bit near the end where instead of changing anything up, he just sings louder?
It's like he's shouting at me. "WHY DON'T YOU CRAWL OUT THROUGH THE FALLOUT BACK TO MEEEEE"
You’re supposed to be belting it with him by the end. Come on now
Except most people won't be because it's such a bad song. FO76 has some real bad songs (and some good). They could bring in a few more missing from FO3 for sure.
Bah! You just don't have that cold war moxie!
Why...
Do the starts go on shining...
First time I ever heard that song I was a kid in the early 70s. I had found my grandparents' stash of old 78 albums. I put on "End of the World" and listened and loved the song. It was a scratchy old album, but something about the scratches and hisses and pops really made me feel the weight of the time that had past. It truly felt like I was listening to ancient voices. Very cool memory.
This is how I first heard 'anything goes'... On my mom's phonograph, an ancient record from back in the day
Yeah, I miss 'Way Back Home'.
Wait, what? They removed it?.. I'm playing with a fallout radio stream if I feel like it, never knew they removed songs from the in-game radio
It wasn't on the radio in 76. But, it was in FO4. Would've liked it if they could have brought it over to 76.
Remove Beach boys and bring back more oldies 🙏🙏🙏
Yeah it's better than the beach boys imho, even if they're more era-appropriate.
We're missing a lot of good songs once featured on FO radio stations. It's a shadow of what it was
beach boys aren't more era appropriate though. opposite. To me, fallout has always been about WW2 era style.
I agree with you. I'm just being kind to beach boy stans
I like Vic Dana’s rendition of that song. Hard to find though.
I used youtube-dl to grab all songs from "More where that came from" playlists, dropped them onto USB stick and voila - just play it instead of radio using PS5 music player. 400-odd songs, about 28h, much less repetitive than FO radios.
And when I play using PS Remote Play on my laptop - same but with WinAmp. Blast from the past, this one :)
If you want radios - mp3 of radio breaks are available online (if you search well) - drop them with songs and they will also randomly play. Even breaks from previous games are available, if you prefer them.
Watch Don't Worry Darling LoL
Why does the sun goes on shining?..
ME TOO
Same.
