    Really fun for adventurous riders!
We went on a Friday unsure of what to expect in terms of the crowd or ride availability due to recent reviews. Only one ride we wanted to ride was closed and most everything was open except some small food vendors. We had the flash pass but didn’t need it much due to the crowd volume. Ordering food online was far faster than waiting in line for us. There were some new staff members in training which made for small hiccups but everyone was pleasant for the most part. We enjoyed this visit a lot and got to everything we wanted to in one day.
Thanks for the great review. Have a great day!

    Fun day!
We went on a Wednesday on purpose to avoid crowds. We took our two grandsons ages 7 and 9. They had a blast! The park was open from 11-7. The water park was open from 12-7. We had to carry around our bag with water park things for an hour until it opened so we could get a locker. We hit a few rides during that hour and they keep your bag for you until you get off the ride so that wasn’t a problem at all. We got Groupon tickets which I was not able to load into the app beforehand. It wasn’t a problem as I really didn’t use the app much. The lines were not long at all for the rides or food. We got the meal plan which ended up being a good deal because the food is very expensive there. The meal plan included the all day drink bottle which was great because it was very hot that day and we filled it a lot! It also included a meal or snack every 90 minutes. We were a little concerned about the weather as it did get over 100 that day but we weren’t ever really hot. There is lots of shade and water rides to keep you cool. We went to the water park around 3:30 and finished out the day there. We could have stayed longer to do all the things we wanted to do and didn’t have enough time for. We didn’t go to any shows because we couldn’t fit them in. Overall, it was a great experience!
Thanks for taking time out of your day to review us. Hope to see you again soon!

    Hot but Fun
What can I say the park was a big hit with everyone. Even though it was hot every one had a blast. We rented a cabana in Hurricane Harbor and it was worth it. A great place to group. “Free” seating in Hurricane Harbor is very limited. One gripe is they need a more diverse food offering in Hurricane harbor, seems all you could get was chicken fingers and pizza. Six flags park was lots of fun. Various food options and lots of places to find a shady seat for those not participating in the rides.
Thanks for taking time out of your day to review us. Hope to see you again soon!

The most well run Six Flags
You don't have to stay in this park long to tell that ownership really takes pride in this place. This is my 7th park I've visited in the chain and I must have said at least 10 times "I can't believe this is a six flags". The theming feels more like something you'd see at a Universal park. The ride lineup is also very solid. We got to meet the park president also and he seems like he really cares. Park employees are also very nice which is a nice breath of fresh air after dealing with the rude ride operators at Sea World. We spent two days here and I will admit for about 2 hours on our first day we did start running into some typical Six Flags issues. 4 different rides broke down on us (the drop tower went down twice while I was waiting" and we did wait about a half hour at Fat Burger. Eventually though the day did turn around and we had a great time for the rest of our stay.
Really glad you had a positive experience. Thanks for reviewing. Hope to see you again in the near future!

Excellent Park For The Coaster Enthusiasts!
Love, love, love this park! While it's not anything on the scale of Universal-Orlando or Disneyworld, it positively excels in the coaster offerings. Perfect for one day intensive coaster experience. My favorite is Iron Rattler, but other than Batman, which I hated, the coaster selection is outstanding! This was our 2nd visit to the park, and we were there a bit off-season, so the lines were short, but they still seemed to be pretty well staffed, and we had a picture-perfect day to spend at the park. We'll be back!
Hi, thank you so much for the review. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

    Overpriced and underwhelming
Very expensive daily tickets with one day rate of $59 for kids and adults when we visited. Everything, including maps of the place, cost something. Not much do or 4-6 year olds to do. Disappointing experience for the money spent.
We appreciate the rating, even if it means we could have done better. We are always looking for ways to improve. If you’d like to share any details about your experience, please send a note to vipsupport@sixflags.com.

    Good experience
This was a fun time overall. It was early in the season so they didn’t have all the rides open. The parking was $37 which I think now takes the spot as most expensive parking I have ever paid in my life! There was not really a line to go through security. I waited in the ticket line and when I got to the front they said to save $90 I could buy the tickets on my phone. What a waste of time and also how stupid- just sell me the tickets at the online price! The first impression of the park was that it could have been cleaner and better maintained since they had all winter to work on that. I did all-day dining and I thought it was worth it. The food was mediocre at best but still a better value than not having the package. The staff members who I encountered were friendly and ready to start off the summer season. The entertainment was really bad.
Thanks for taking the time to rate us. We are always looking for ways to improve. If you’d like to share more details about your experience, please send a note to vipsupport@sixflags.com.

    A wonderful experice
we are a Arizona family, and when we made a trip out there to Texas it was so beautiful. Our first stop was the SixFlag's water park and that was honestly the best use of my money. The kids loved it so much, the park itself was huge and had a variety of rides to choose from, such a great day for that humid weather . The next day we made a stop at the amusement park , everything was amazing the kids got to play games and win multiple prizes. The rides were overall the best part, the iron rattler was their fav, the only thing that suck was the wonder woman ride was shut down when we got there. We will definitely make another trip here again!!!!

True amusement park for thrill riders. Our family (2 adults, 2 teenagers, and 2 kids) spent all day here the week between christmas and new years. Three of us are die hard roller coaster riders, three of us easily turn green. This is definitely an amusement park for thrill riders. There's a decent amount for toddlers, but not a lot for bigger kids that aren't thrill riders. I think we would've liked the water park, but that area was obviously closed. If you think you're going to spend a decent amount of time there, I highly recommend purchasing an "all inclusive bundle" ticket online prior to getting there. The wrist band gave us each a lunch, a dinner, and a snack, plus unlimited (non alcoholic) drinks at the park. A typical burger/fries costs approximately $13-$14.

While the attendance of the park during Holiday in the Park looked to be about average, it felt like lines were as long as on a Summer Day with the park sold out. Most of the larger rides only had 1 car/train etc. going with others sitting on the side track. Lines that should have only taken 10-15 minutes were 45 min - 1 hour instead. I wish they would look at how the Cedar Fair parks operate...always efficient.

This is definitely one of the best six flags parks they have an amazing top three coasters with Wonder woman golden lasso Iron Rattler and superman Krypton coaster.
The park is beautiful and very clean and the areas have alot more theming then other six flags parks it doesn't feel like a concrete jungle like six flags great Adventure does.
They have an amazing setting with the quarry wall and a wide range of attractions for all ages.
My only complaint I have is some of the rides had terrible operations most rides including Superman wonder woman and and batman the ride were running pretty quickly,The Wonder Woman and superman crew were espcially great and were working hard to dispatch the trains quickly and they were all at least on two train ops however poltergeist The Joker Carnival of chaos and especially iron Rattler had bad operations.Iron Rattler was breaking down very frequently and only running on partial train ops which really slows the lines down.
Also alot of the rides were broken I was there a day and a half and I got on everything I wanted to do but regardless at one point in the day I looked on my flash pass and it said 9 different attractions were currently unoperational which doesnt look good.
I still had a really great time at this park.
The highlights of my visit were Wonder Woman Golden lasso Iron Rattler Superman, Poltergeist Batman the ride and Bugs White Water Rapids.
Overall a great six flags park with a very nice setting and some amazing thrilling coasters the only downside is that rides seem to break down alot and operations aren't the best.
This is a great destination for coaster enthusiasts and with SeaWorld san Antonio right down the road it makes it easy to hit both of those parks.

I booked the VIP experience hoping it would make visiting the park as minimally aggravating as possible. With a 7 month old, I expected to simply endure the day, but hoped paying for the VIP package would make it somewhat bearable. A rep called us two days before our visit to ask our ride and food preferences. She asked us what time we would be arriving and told us our guide would meet us at the front gate.

When we arrived, we told the ticket taker we were there for the VIP experience. We were immediately greeted by 3 employees and introduced to our VIP guide, Austin.

Austin had us on a ride within 10 minutes. We were soon joined by another guide, Amber. Austin and Amber stayed by our side all day. They escorted us onto rides, showed us to the nearest restroom, helped us with our bags and got us drinks and food whenever we asked. And, they regularly asked us if we needed anything else. When our two oldest daughters wanted to ride a few extreme rides and our 7 year old wanted to ride a more child appropriate ride, Austin and Amber split up so everyone could keep having fun.

One of the biggest perks was being escorted to the front of the line for every ride and getting first dibs on which car we wanted. And, we could ride back to back as many times as we wanted.

We rode rides until we were tired of riding rides. We had reserved seating at the concert and they took our order and brought us our food where it was time foe lunch. I’ve been to many theme parks and our visit to Fiesta Texas was our most enjoyable to date.

It was the best money I’ve ever spent on a vacation. The only problem is I will never go to a theme park again without a VIP package!

Fiesta Texas knocked of out of the park...pun intended :-)

If you do book, make sure you book the guided tour and I highly recommend Austin, Amber and Lindsey.

I have not been to a Six Flags park in many years, but visit Disney annually.

I had an outstanding trip with my family and strongly suggest you also visit. The guests were great, the waits were short, there were very visible measures taken to clean rides, hand sanitizing stations were everywhere, and the rides were excellent. Six Flags is really doing a great job.

If I could have any complaint, food was very expensive ($19 for a cheeseburger and fries) but I understand that the park has to do what it can to make money.

My family is two adults and two children (1 is a toddler). There were plenty of activities for all of the kids to participate in.

We went first weekend in April and the park was severely understaffed. Waited in line 2 hours for first ride then an hour in line for lunch. We decided to buy fast passes for our 3 teens so that the trip and hotel costs were not completely wasted and then waited in line for an hour and half to pay over four hundred dollars for 3 fast passes. After buying the fast passes our teens were able to ride each ride once before closing. The amount of people shoulder to shoulder in this park was incredible and they have absolutely no reduced capacity, no social distancing and pack as many people as they can into the park. Online says that you must have a reservation but no one asked or checked at the gate for it. We also waited in line 2 hours for a funnel cake- at least half the people left the line because it was so long and it makes no sense why Six Flags does not staff the park to make more money, there were tons of people willing to pay for food but not enough workers to provide it in any sort of timely manner. I could never recommend this park due to long lines for everything, you don’t really get to enjoy anything. Our visit to SeaWorld was much nicer than Six Flags, We will go to SeaWorld over Six Flags any day.

I had a season pass membership. The year mark was in April. With all the pandemic going on, I forgot to cancel my membership and I didn't notice because I had to get a different credit card, so I was not seeing the charge. Meanwhile Six Flags was trying to charge my other card and it was declining but they never sent me a notice that it was declined. I just remembered today and looked it up to see I supposedly owed about $150 for June, July and August. They basically told me too bad... they would not give me my $100 deposit back unless I paid the $150 which is ridiculous because no way in hell I'm going to Six Flags with Coronavirus blowing up in Texas!! Most companies are willing to help people out right now, but apparently not greedy theme parks such as Six Flags. I would definitely not recommend a membership!! For us ended up being way more money than just paying for the visits when we go.

The only reason I am giving the theme park 2 stars is because their rides are really cool and my teenage boys liked them better than Disney and Busch Gardens. We are from Florida and have went to every theme park there (Disney, Universal, Busch Gardens, Legoland) and compared to these, Six Flags Fiesta has a HUGE issue with line management on rides and at serving food. The lines at Six Flags Fiesta were 70 plus minute waits and it seemed that you were at a stand still. Our theme parks in Florida have continuous moving lines, and their employers are required to have everyone safely loaded within a very short time frame. Not only were the employees at Six Flags the slowest I’ve ever seen, but they had a packed park and were running as if it weren’t. All coasters had one coaster on the tracks (every coaster should have been running) where the employees could be loading one while one is running. The Screamer had three drop platforms which would hold 36 people at once, yet they were running one that held 12 and were only loading it with 6-8 people. The Six Flags Ap said that the screamer ride was a 25 minute wait, but because they were running it to less than 1/3 of capacity, my teens waited 90 minutes. We rode about half of the rides there is an 8 hour window (probably less). I tried purchasing their fast passes, but we had a party of 9 and it won’t let you buy more than 6 online, so we had to suffer thru long wait lines, which were unnecessary and, only, because of lack of training for employees and bad use of equipment (space and coasters not being utilized). Six Flags would probably be one of the top them parks if they would fix these issues, but with speaking to other visitors, it has been this way forever. I won’t be back without a fast pass, and I will never rely on their App. Everything on the App was inaccurate.

A friend and I were vacationing in Texas, and we chose to spend a day here at Six Flags Fiesta as part of our trip. We have both been here before, but it has been over ten years. I really like this park. They have an excellent selection of rides, and most everything seemed to be in good working order. Because of the covid-19 pandemic, not all the rides were operating, but most were. So kudos to management for staffing.

The park seemed to be fairly clean. We had one meal in the park, and the food was not too bad. It was not the best park food I have had, but it was far from the worst.

We were able to get a decent number of coaster rides in here as the management allows re-rides if no one is in your queue line or switching of seats to an empty seat. That is a vey nice perk that most all Six Flags parks offer.

My one "real" complaint is the ridiculous amount of line cutting that took place on almost every ride throughout the whole day. There are signs that give a number to call if there is line cutting. It is listed as the sixth item on their policy list. However, it is NOT enforced. Ride operators stood there and watched patrons cut in front of other guests and said NOTHING! I tried to do the right thing. I contacted a ride supervisor on one of the coasters and told her that queue cutting was bad. Her response was, "I know. It always is. But we cannot throw everyone out of the park for queue cutting, or there would be mass chaos!" I disagree. If you have the signs up about not cutting other guests in line, then you NEED to enforce it. If the consequence is to be removed from the park, then after so many are removed, word will get around that management is not playing around with those being rude to others. (Smoking and vaping were also an issue. I understand people have the right to smoke, but it should be done away from the queue lines as some have breathing issues that worsen when exposed to cigarette smoke.)

The signs about line cutting need to be removed since nothing is being done about it. It may not seem like a "big" deal, but it really is. What does this teach your children? It does not matter if you are the one cutting line or witness it happening. It teaches children that rules do not matter, and looking out for others' best interest does not matter either.

Though I like the park, I am not likely to be back for a few years. Line cutting was bad on my last visit, but it has gotten even worse since then.

We attended on March 16th, and about half of the rides were closed. When we asked one of the workers why so many rides were closed, we were told that they wouldn't open up until there were bigger crowds. They didn't tell us the rides works be limited when we called and purchased tickets. Since so many rides were closed, it made the lines long for the rides that were open. Another big disappointment was purchasing the refill drink glasses. We were told that we could get unlimited refills at various locations, but there was only one location that was open to refill the glasses. This caused the line to be a 20 minute wait in order to get the drink refilled. (See attached picture)
This could be a good place to take the kids if it was run like six flags Arlington or Silver Dollar City, but it is not somewhere that we plan on visiting again. We were very disappointed.
