I don't know if this one has ever made it to CD or not. In fact, I'm not even entirely sure these tracks have been compiled all in one place before (though I suspect they have)--coming from assorted EP's and singles. Digital only and too bad they didn't waste any effort on the cover art. These were early 60s recordings, but Dusty still shines like a bright star.

1. O Holy Child......Dusty Springfield
2. Jingle Bells
3. Bambino
4. Star Of Hope
5. The Twelve Days Of Christmas
6. Mary's Boy Child
7. Away In A Manger
8. We Wish You A Merry Christmas

O Holy Child is Dusty's only solo spot, here. That one's from 1964.

The Dusty Springfield Bulletin fanzine, run by Paul Howes up until a few years ago, put out a CD of all these tracks (in the same running order) in 1996, officially licensed from Mercury Records. It was issued on the Zone label, number X001, titled "We Wish You A Merry Christmas" by Dusty Springfield & The Springfields, with a different cover. I bought my copy back then...

Boy, do I feel stupid. Up until five minutes ago when I clicked on the above link to listen to the samples, I thought "Mary's Boy Child" was a Boney M original (my wife plays their version frequently during the holidays).

The Springfields material is very much in the early 60s folk vein. I'm curious to see what they end up selling this for, as it only adds up to about 20 minutes of music.
