Another reviewer described the sex scenes in "Sinful Temptations" as comically fake, and I have to agree. Besides the fairly standard (lame) plot--hot wife decides to start modeling despite jealous, possessive husband's objections--this movie also has horrible acting to go along with it, which includes the sex scenes. It's so pathetic to me that movies like this one from MRG, which have worse writing, worse acting and worse production values, took over the old Mystique Films/Indigo Entertainment vaunted place on Playboy TV in the early 2000s. This one is copyrighted 2000, so it must be one of the early examples.
To be honest, it's actually better than most other MRG fare. It has more nudity, and has some full frontal (though not nearly enough to make things interesting). No explicit of course. As crummy as the production values are, they're better than what came four or five years later. But even this far back they were relying on mostly no-name actresses with horrible, even scary implant jobs (as opposed to Mystique Films which favored natural ladies). In one of the sex scenes one of the actress' nipples inverts on its own--it actually appears to collapse into the breast. Call 911 and shut this operation down!
The only exception is Mia Zittoli, who you may know as Ava Lake, who is credited here only as "Mia." This must have been her first movie after the implant job. For once, she is cast as innocent and naive. She just can't do innocent and naive convincingly, particularly with those two cannons on her chest. So that's yet another distraction in a movie that's just filled with them.
Fortunately it's also filled with female nudity, and even though most of the women don't look too good, there's enough naked Mia here to whet the appetite. Not recommended viewing, but not the worst out there either.
