Simply Streisand

‘Simply Streisand is the ninth studio album recorded by American singer and actress Barbra Streisand. It was released by Columbia Records in October 1967 simultaneously with her first Christmas album.

Upon release, The album became Streisand’s first not to enter the top ten of the US Billboard 200 Album chart, peaking at number 12, and also was her most poorly received record at the time, with critics deeming the material “mediocre”.

In April 2002, the album finally received Gold certification from RIAA in the US for 500,000 copies sold in the country.
