Domingo G I know that most people don't like this movie but for me it was good, a fun movie for me and also enjoyable Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/23/24 Full Review Hillary C I am shocked at so many extremely negative reviews from the audience. I am thinking maybe it's due to the climate catastrophe since that's become such a divisive issue. I don't know, I could be wrong, but I truly loved this movie. I can see how some might not love it, but so many people just completely bombed it and that isn't fair at all. Most movies don't deserve 1/2 a star. I'm really getting tired of people having absolutely no middle ground anymore about anything. Give it 2 starts, I don't care, because movies are subjective. I mean, unlike most people, I don't like The Shining, like at all, but it doesn't deserve 1/2 a star. Anyway, with that said, I thought it was a deeply emotional movie, with a little dark comedy mixed in, which I really enjoyed. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/04/24 Full Review J P Maybe one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Zero redeeming qualities. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/24 Full Review Andrew P Woof, talk about rusty performances from a bunch of has-beens and C-list actors. But yes, a very modern-day EOTW film based off of a real threat to our world right?! Cheesy lines, poor character stories. Only watch if you enjoy bad movies. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/24 Full Review NY G Can't go wrong with Roman. Adorable lil film. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/24 Full Review Rosemary B Deeply unpleasant and depressing. I can't think anyone in any universe could find anything slightly amusing in it. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/03/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Amy Nicholson FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) This is one of the darker Christmas movies I've ever seen, and I quite enjoyed it for a while. Dec 21, 2021 Full Review Charlotte O'Sullivan London Evening Standard Silent Night has something to irk everyone. Still, viewers prepared to be patient will be rewarded. Rated: 3/5 Dec 11, 2021 Full Review Tim Grierson Screen International Despite a game cast led by Keira Knightley, the film never snaps into sharp enough focus, ultimately blunting the story's barbs and bleak message. Dec 11, 2021 Full Review Jackson Weaver CBC News As one of the first true climate catastrophe comedies — it details a dinner party hours ahead of the apocalypse — there's little out there to compare [Silent Night] to. It's sure to keep you engaged — assuming you can laugh along to the end of the world. Rated: 3.5/5 Oct 16, 2023 Full Review Samuel Leggett Jr. JVS Media & Productions/Team JVS Silent Night is not your topical dark comedy as it apocalyptic scenario in the mix that makes for great character conversations and breakdowns. It’s just how the film resolves those questions and moral decisions that makes the 2nd half feel hollow Rated: 6/10 Dec 26, 2022 Full Review Cate Young Thirty, Flirty + Film "Silent Night is a darkly funny take on the inevitability of climate collapse and the fecklessness of the world’s powers in the face of combatting a problem of their own making."
