Once upon a time, in a far away swamp, there lived an ogre named Shrek (Mike Myers) whose precious solitude is suddenly shattered by an invasion of annoying fairy tale characters. They were all banished from their kingdom by the evil Lord Farquaad (John Lithgow). Shrek has everything you could want in an animated movie. Heartfelt moments, relatable characters, unexpected twists, an excellent soundtrack, and humor that appeals to young and old audiences. Theres a reason its still a revered movie even 20+ years later. If you havent seen it, youre truly missing out.
