This is what I love about motorcycles. We can have completely retro looking modern bikes and it's no biggie now. Meanwhile car guys paying 100s of grand for proper retro modern classics like Land Rover Series 1s or E Types.
Hope it is a parallel twin and how does it compare with the int 650 ??!!. And more pics pls !!.
Tried the INT 650 and its much smoother than BSA 650, the good side its that its vibrations arent too anoying, they give the bike that "alive" feeling I was looking for. It has better gear retention and it brakes much, much better.

Its half year old, no issues except a spring inside the gearbox that missplaced while riding and couldnt change gears.
Service every 10000kms, seems a lot but Ill respect it. Due to only have 3k kms I dont know. About the spring, got mine repaired in 24 hours and I was back on the road asap, but its not a serious example.
At fist mileage was terrible, but after letting the engine mature I've experience getting each time much better mileage. Last time I did 250km on a single day and only getting into reserve the last 10km.
I buy it on Valencia, Spain, on GMPMoto, theres only 4 bike shops in Spain that sell the BSAs.

Theres vibes at cruise speed, but not too much to feel bad, the bikes feels alive. Cruising is hard without windshield, thats why I added one. Top speed I reached 160km, but didnt tried more. Remaches 130km easily.

Im in love with the looks on the bike, its a full classic and moves heads around. Sounds wonderful, beautiful with decat mod.

RE sounds better stock, but with the decat mod the bsa sounds just perfect.
What is the comfortable top speed one can ride it at on a straight, smooth highway with minimal vibrations ?
100-110km, can go 120km if you feel in a hurry. At 140km the vibrations are annoying and you lose all vision of the mirrors. Seat is wonderful and conmfy at all speeds. I highly recommend windshield.

Rides like a charm and sounds beautiful in person, but if you want a true vintage BSA youll need to decat

Compared to other mid weights what's the character of the engine and riding dynamics and the electricals?
Its a thumpy engine, riding is a charm, its a bike that doesnt doubt at any curve and I've never fear of unstability and braking its perfect. Electrically theres not too much to say being a classic, except theres a cold stalling issue, some units even stall repeatedly on road (not my case).
How is it compared to RE Interceptor 650?
Is there anything specific that makes it unique when compared with other retro modern bikes ?
The fact its a true mono classic (its like the best replacement of a RE 500).

How'd you get your hands on one. These aren't out in India, no? Looks really good. Is it a longer stroke similar to an enfield or a more speed 400 style short stroke. What made you pick BSA over RE650.
Its a mid stroke due to be mono, has decent retention but i dont have enought experience to be precise in this question. Anyway its a rotax design bmw 650
