Sheridan Smith gave her security guard a cheeky pat on the bottom as she left the theatre following another performance in her play Opening Night on Wednesday.
The actress, 42, was spotted putting on a cosy display with the long-bearded male when exiting the theatre as her show draws closer to the end of its run, after poor ticket sales and unimpressed critic reviews.
Sheridan, who was recently seen leaping into another security guard’s arms last week, appeared close with the fellow guard – just days after speaking about her rocky love life.
Despite Opening Night’s early closure, Sheridan put on a brave face as she departed London’s Gielgud Theatre ahead of the final show on 18 May.
Appearing in high-spirts, cheerful Sheridan made a real effort with fans as she was seen signing autographs.

Last week, Sheridan admitted ‘it’s hard to let anyone into her world’ as she opened up about her dating life.
She welcomed her son Billy in 2020, with her ex-fiancé Jamie Horn, whom she split from in 2021.
Sheridan has now revealed she has been trying out dating apps but has had no success in finding the one.
She admitted she is ‘still figuring out’ her love life but is more than ‘happy’ with spending her time with her son.
When asked whether its easier to date someone in the public eye, the singer told The Sunday Times: ‘I don’t know. I’ve tried both. I’m still figuring it out. I don’t know what I was thinking being on those apps, to be honest.
‘It’s hard to let anyone into that world, and for anyone to want to be part of that world as well, so who knows what the future holds, but I’m happy.’
Sheridan went on to say she believes she is good at being single however, her friends would disagree.

She added: ‘Of course, I’d love to get older with somebody, but if I don’t I’ve got my boy and I live for him. It’s me and him against the world. Everything is for him, so I don’t feel the need now to be dating like I always used to. Hopefully one day someone will love me for me.’
It comes after she broke down in tears while discussing the failure of her play Opening Night.
Speaking to Sunday Times, the actress was reduced to tears during the interview as she admitted she ‘felt like she let everybody down’.
After first hitting the stage in March, it was announced last month that Opening Night will end its run at London’s Gielgud Theatre on May 18, instead of July 27 – and producers blamed a ‘challenging financial landscape’ for the decision.
Announcing the news, the production team said that the play ‘may not have had the life we had hoped for’ – something Sheridan lamented and blamed herself for.
The bereft star said: ‘I was just heartbroken for the company. I felt that I’d let them down in a way, that I couldn’t sell it’.
Sheridan recently implored people to come and see the show after it was slammed by theatregoers who claimed it was ‘boring’ and walked out half way through.
Opening Night tells the story of functioning alcoholic actress Myrtle Gordon (Sheridan) who gets a second chance. The play is based on the 1977 drama film of the same name starring Gena Rowlands.

Fans have been left baffled and bored by the production, with scores of theatregoers streaming out of the show nearly every evening since its March 6 debut
During the show, Sheridan’s character Myrtle goes out onto the street to perform a scene while the audience watch from a screen inside – which has been surprising and sometimes fooling passers-by outdoors
The actress’ West End comeback has been fraught with difficulties including poor reviews and bad turnouts and as a result, the musical as been cancelled and will end two months earlier than originally planned
She has admitted the part forced her to confront her own issues after she suffered a highly publicised breakdown while performing in Funny Girl in the West End in 2016.
‘I was very ashamed of that time of my life, and I wanted to do this part to prove that I could do it, that I could face my demons head on,’ she told The Times. ‘I’m so much stronger than I was back then.’
‘I went off the rails a bit, dated all the wrong people, obviously my breakdown. Now I feel like I’m a mum, I’m very grateful for everything I’ve got in my life. I feel like the best is yet to come.’
