Then she says how tense things are with Steffy and I guess that’s why she couldn’t give them to her. If things are tense with Steffy then why the he$$ is she at Steffy’s house with her husband? Apparently she doesn’t care if this makes things worse. I mean who is she kidding? She always wants what Steffy has and she’s going after it again. She has no shame at all. Well at least this time her breasts weren’t on full display. I guess that’s a plus.

Glad I am not the only one wondering about this. Isn’t this the same Hope that rejoiced when Steffy miscarried a baby of Liam’s? Isn’t this the same Hope that was terribly upset that Steffy gave birth to a child of Liam’s before she did? Is Kelly that safe around Hope? Hope hates Steffy.
This writing is pathetic. Next Bell & Company will have everyone on the show sitting around a campfire singing “She’ll Be Coming Around the Mountain” and other campy songs. I am sure Zende won’t be invited though.

The writers really need to stop with this excuse of returning objects just as an excuse to bring characters together. It looks lame. The characters have already established a so-called friendship why not just come in and say “Hi, how’s it going “ or some other greeting? It just makes it weird.

When has Hope ever shown interest on Kelly other than when she kidnapped Kelly for three days when Steffy was too injured to drive to Hope’s to get her daughter - the daughter that was suppose to be returned the first night?

They haven’t reported him out so I think he is just back burnered and most likely taking his vacation for his honeymoon and will be back because if he was actually gone I think they would have said so

Yea a quick check in with a friend is perfectly normal. Maybe they are trying to establish that they all are involved with the kids. I guess Kelly has been with Hope for her to have her goggles.
I didn’t see anything romantic or nefarious about the visit though. They were just two friends talking.

And that “quick check” could have been accomplished with a text. She doesn’t have to show up at the Cliff House because, golly gee, Finn might need some sympathy because big, bad Steffy killed his bio-mommy and doesn’t even care. Except, of course, that she DOES care, has asked Finn repeatedly how he’s doing about that, and clearly is uncomfortable with the fact that she had to kill anyone. Finn asked Hope to try and get along with Steffy for the sake of everyone, especially the kids. How is her showing up at the Cliff House to take Finn’s emotional temperature accomplishing that? As for the swim goggles, if she just can’t bear to be around Steffy long enough to return them, she could have handed them off to Ridge to return to her—they live on the same property, after all. Same thing with R.J.—she could have given them to him to give to Steffy. Or she could have brought them to work and left them with whoever is now the receptionist at FC, since neither Pam nor DDonna seem to be at that desk anymore. Or, since she seems to think she can commandeer Steffy’s office for meetings and just personal chit-chat with Liam, she could have left them with a note on Steffy’s desk. Any of those solutions to the problem would have been simpler than driving all the way out to the Cliff House to sweet-talk Finn (and she probably knew Steffy was still at the office or she would never have attempted that gambit, as that’s definitely Hope’s M.O.)

Steffy couldn’t go looking for her—she wasn’t even supposed to be driving at that point. And the morning Hope told Liam she was finally going to return Kelly to her waiting mother, she left her with Brooke to do some stupid art project and brought Steffy breakfast burritos instead without bothering to call Steffy and ask if that would be okay. And did Hope get any flack from Liam for that? Nope, because she’s Hope.

Yeah, I think it’s just that he had time off coming to him and he took it. If he had left the show, by now MA would have said something.
