Sevier County High School Reviews
Rating 3.52 out of 5 222 reviews
Sevier County High School overall is an excellent school. It is a little rough around the edges, but with a few simple fixes could be an excellent school. If we received more money then the facilities would be much better which is one of the main issues.
Sevier County High School is probably one of the finer schools in all of Sevier County when it comes to public education. I would not say the high-school is prestigious, but it does try to hold a good quality of education & ethics. The opportunities the high school gives for career-learning & education fields is diverse, which I am a fan of; I will say though, opportunities were not always available or known when it could have been helpful. If I could change anything, I would like to see the high school itself be renovated, & for a better attitude towards students still being developing minors who need guidance or help. I say this because there are definitely what you would call "horror stories" about how some of the students are treated. Overall, Sevier County High School is an acceptable school, but it will always have room for improvement.
Sevier County High School is great. They offer a variety of different electives, such as prelaw and criminal justice, and culinary and cosmetology, just to name a few. There’s also many clubs, like the Latino College Club, that are involved in community service and help out the community. One change I’d like to see for our school is for more student participation. I believe our school could benefit from encouraging more student involvement and I believe they should either make joining a club required or make a certain amount of community service hours required. Not only would the school benefit from this, but the students too, as these things would look good on their resumes and would be a step forward towards their future education, should they choose to go to college/university. Even if they decided against it, these would be good experiences as they would learn good values and teamwork.
