I LOVE Seth MacFarlane's CDs. I've got them all. It amazes me that voice comes out of... well... him. This one is great, definitely more upbeat than some of his others, though sometimes he sounds like he's having a little trouble vocally but nothing crazy. LOVE his rendition of "Once Upon a Dream"!Shipping however was not great, or packaging or something. I opened the package and the case was cracked, took it out of the package and it fell apart. Thankfully the CD appears okay.

Seth MacFarlane is truly one of the finest singers ever!
With each album he proves that.
His song choices are are not the run of mill standards stuff but all are classics in their own right.
The arrangements on this album are by the legendary film music composer Bruce Broughton, his first album of this type, and they are excellent.
The vinyl pressing on this release is excellent too. I wasn't expecting it to be but it's pop and click free and extremely quiet. Highly recommended in all respects. Don't miss it.

Oh Seth MacFarlane, how I love your singing voice! Seth's take on some well-known and lesser well-known songs from the movies and Broadway were so enjoyable. I listen to them on the way to work to get the day started well and sometimes I listen to them to relax in the evening. The only thing that was missing is I would love to hear him sing "The Heather on the Hill" which is one of my favorite songs from Brigadoon. There's one for the next CD!

His choice of material is top drawer, the tunes here from Hollywood and Broadway are delivered with confidence and aplomb. The Bruce Broughton arrangements are astonishingly lovely. Hard to pick favorites as every song is terrific, though "I Loved You Once in Silence" has a particular charm. So glad someone is still making albums like this one. Keep on singing, Seth, and I'll keep listening!

On this offering, the highlights for me are the more upbeat ones: "Ten Minutes Ago" and "Ain't Got A Dime to My Name." The sleeve explains which show each song came from. I only wish he included lyrics.

Every album from Seth is superb and this latest release certainly does not disappoint. The tracks he features here are not your typical Stage and Screen selection and several were not familiar to me at all. I have to say that as a fan of artists such as Sinatra, Bennett and co Seth's records are the best new recordings being released and it is sad that he does not get the radio promotion he deserves. Wake up Radio2 !
