Synopsis[]

After "Jericho's" baptism, uninvited guests force difficult decisions.

Plot[]

Sean prepares Jericho's placenta to eat. Leanne hurries to get the Turner house ready for the after party following Jericho's baptism.

Dorothy shows off her son to her guests and highlights how they are standing in the very spot Jericho was born. She spots a young girl holding a doll which makes her pause. While playing a video of the baptism, Julian spots George in the background alongside Aunt May. This stuns him and Leanne.

The little girl Dorothy spoke to earlier goes upstairs and Dorothy follows. As she holds the doll, she flashes back to when she was on the stairs holding a deceased Jericho. Julian goes outside to meet Roscoe and asks him to kill George which Roscoe refuses to do. Natalie approaches Leanne about Jericho and reiterates that Dorothy needs to be told the truth.

Leanne goes upstairs to Jericho's room to find May with Jericho. Leanne confronts May about Jericho and May asks Leanne what happened with Dorothy and Jericho. May says Dorothy will hurt the baby again and that Leanne must leave - May claims the house is changing Leanne. Dorothy enters the room and meets May, recognizing her but does not pick out where from. May says Leanne is their servant, not Dorothy's.

Meanwhile, George goes down to the cellar to meet Sean. George refuses money offered to him by Sean and George questions whether Sean knows who he let into his home. He explains it was easier to fake Leanne's death and then raise her somewhere else, and that Leanne had met Dorothy before as a young child. Leanne likes to please who she loves, and punish who she hates. He asks why they kept a baby they knew wasn't theirs, and asks Sean to ask God for Jericho to stay.

Back in the living room, Frank, Dorothy's father, makes a speech about Jericho, saying Sean and Dorothy will give him a lot of love. The police enter asking about a missing child which causes shock amongst the Turners, namely Sean who squeezes a champagne cork with glass attached making his hand bleed. This turns out to be a false alarm, referring to the child Dorothy spoke to early up with the doll.

Sean notices he cannot feel anything despite his hand being injured, which he later confirms by holding his hand over a burning gas hob. Julian and Natalie leave, leaving Roscoe to keep watch. Leanne whips herself again while George and May confront Roscoe. Dorothy searches for an old news recording to see if she can identify May and she finds she recognizes her from a standoff involving The Church of the Lesser Saints and police. She is the leader of that group. After recognizing May Markham, Dorothy goes to Jericho's room to find a Reborn Doll in his crib, which leaves her horrified.

Leanne leaves the Turner house to join those from The Church of Lesser Saints. A policeman drives by thinking he saw the group, but upon reversing, they had vanished.
