Very unique fort to explore! Kids absolutely loved it and thought it was a fun adventure. We happened to be there on reenactment day and everyone was so friendly. A must do for anyone vacationing on Amelia Island.

My husband and I are always interested in the history of the towns/cities that we travel to, so we seek out museums that will tell of those stories. The Museum is packed with history and information about Amelia Island. You can take a self-guided tour or take advantage of a guided tour as well. It is housed in the historic Nassau County Jail and "showcases the island's 4,000 years of Florida history." (taken from the brochure)

Very friendly and helpful staff who are eager to answer questions and make suggestions for visitors. There was a lot of information available for visitors.

This walk is a hidden gem with enough path space for walkers and bicyclists. Many of the nature activities happen in the morning- so grab a cup of coffee and head for Eagans Creek.

Parking is easy and free. Great location with restaurants nearby. Nice beach with shells and good sand. Downside is the restrooms are terrible and sometimes to the point of unusable.

Beach allows driving, but sun bathers are not bothered with sandboggers. Designated areas. Lots of clean sand. No megateeth found but tiny to small shark's teeth are there. Just before sunrise starting in May, you will likely see official volunteers on turtle patrol. This beach has several boardwalks leading from parking lot ending in very soft shifting sand. There are outside showers and a bathhouse. I saw horses being readied for beach riding around 5 pm when the sun was getting low. Gopher tortoises live in the protected dunes.

This was the most amazing hidden gem we found on our vacation. Kids absolutely loved it! A really incredible deal and we were shocked that you only pay 1 price for admission. Our family of 5 were the only people in there for the hour we spent. The man was so nice despite me and my husband juggling 3 very young kids that have never played pinball and were most likely quite annoying to the older gentleman. We felt welcomed and really enjoyed the quality of these pinball machines. They're clearly well cared for. Such a great stop for couples or families that are visiting Amelia Island. One of our favorite experiences from our vacation. Get there early to be the only ones in the building!

Fantastic park, close to town with lots of fun, hands-on activities besides the usual swings and such.

Has a very nice walking track, exercise stations, and you can get nice sunrise pics over the marsh once the sun is high enough.

Great staff running the place! This is a pretty small place, might take you about 10 minutes to go through everything (plus or minus)

We've done a lot of mini golf courses but this one had some especially fun elements. One of the best maintained mini golf courses we've been to. The kids loved it. Staff was very kind and friendly. Would highly recommend this place!
