German professional footballer Serge David Gnabry (born July 14, 1995) competes for the Bundesliga club Bayern Munich and the Germany national team as a winger.
Gnabry made his professional debut in September 2012 while playing for Premier League team Arsenal in England. Prior to returning to Germany and signing with Werder Bremen in 2016, he also spent a brief time on loan at West Bromwich Albion.
Serge joined Bayern Munich in 2017 before spending the 2017–18 campaign on loan at 1899 Hoffenheim. He won the Bundesliga championship and was awarded Bayern Munich’s Player of the Season in the 2018–19 campaign, his first with the club.
The following year, Gnabry scored 23 goals as Bayern won the Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal, and UEFA Champions League to complete a continental treble.
Gnabry made his senior international debut in November 2016 in a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification match against San Marino, scoring a hat-trick in an 8-0 victory. He had previously played at several junior levels for Germany. Serge competed for Germany in the 2020 UEFA Euro.
